Great pickups as usual, brother Iron! Some great classics and Criterions! Oh yes, and I see an iPad 2. :rock :rock

Thank you, sir :duff

Yeah, got it Wednesday. Coming in handy the next week since my Mac is getting fixed. It's lame, though, that it doesnt support Adobe Flash. I can't watch any video's other then Youtube.

Fright Night (1985)
Rapture

Both from the Screen Archives company.

Is Rapture limited as well?

Isnt there a Ray Harryhausen flick that's limited as well?

Yeah the Rapture Blu-ray says limited to 3000 as well. I didn't see a Harryhausen one, so I will have to check that out.

Got The Rocketeer Blu-ray coming from Amazon on Tuesday.

Speaking of the Rocketeer, I tried watching my DVD last night and oh my god was it a horrible quality DVD. I might as well have been watching the VHS version. The image was so horrible I felt like poking my eyes out. I wouldn't subject my worst enemies (if I had any :lol) to viewings of that film on DVD. From reading online reviews, the new Blu-ray is miles apart in terms of picture quality from the DVD.
Man have I become such a Blu-ray snob!!!! :lol :lol
:(

I too have become a BluRay snob....actually I have become an HD snob in general. If something is on TV and it's not on an HD channel, I don't even bother watching it :lol:lol:lol:lol

OK, I am hating Universal Home entertainment a little bit less now. Along with the new Ultraviolet digital copy, they still let you download another digital copy the old way (through iTunes, Amazon, Microsoft, etc). So kudos to them!
Although I can already see you combo pack haters complaining about this too. :rotfl:rotfl:lol:lol

yeah that was nice to have both.
Im a little pissed the Hangover 2 only has the UltraViolet Dig Copy ... WTF ... :monkey1

Picked up Evangelion 1.11 and 2.22 today on blu ray. I have never seen them, but was recommended to me. Hopefully they are worth it.

Edit: Just watched 1.11 and man was that awesome!! Can't wait to watch the next movie tomm night. Ill probably have to pick up the tv series pretty soon as well.

Best Buy has a deal if you pick up $50 worth of blus you get a $10 gift card, so I grabbed the MI three pack for $29.99 and the NMBC for $19.99. I get up to the register and when they ring up, no GC comes up...huh? She tells me I'm .02 short, and that it has to total $50 before tax. Seriously? Because you guys pretend it's not $20 by pricing it $19.99 I get stiffed? I don't think so...

She added one penny to the price of each and I got my gift card. Pretty good deal since there's $10 for Ghost Protocol in the MI set, so the four movies cost me $30.
