I purchased Underworld Awakening on Blu-ray from ebay.
Anyway, it arived today but it's a 3D version. The auction didn't mention this..

Can someone please confirm if this version also has a 2D version on
the same disc??? It dosn't mention anything on the back cover and
I don't want to open it to find out in case I have to send it back..

Mine has a slipcover that states: Also plays in 2D

And also, right below the 3rd pic down, in small print it gives specs in 2D and 3D.

The 3D disc does play in 2D. I bought it the week it came out and watched it on my regular Blu-ray player and non-3D tv.

I don't own a 3D tv or Blu-ray player but have bought most every movie on 3d Blu-ray now. I can watch them all on my regular Blu-ray player. Well except for Kung Fu Panda, don't get that one cause it is only a 3D disc, lol! Unless you already are 3D capable of course.

There usually are, however Sony discs have both versions on the same Blu-ray. It asks if you want to play the movie in 2D or 3D before going to the menus.

My latest is the limited edition Fight Club steelbook double play disc.

I already have the film on dvd/blu ray 3/2 times respectively.
Guess I have just bumped that up to 4/3 now!
I was just suckered in the by the design.
It looks amazing!

One reason I went back and got 6 of the ones I listed. Originally only got 8. Then I saw that post over there and figured why not pick up some more and just get them price-adjusted. Might pick up the rest later on next week if I end up caving in to the inner collector's voice telling me to buy the rest.

Plus I always hang onto my receipts until I watch everything on them to make sure there is nothing wrong with the discs.

He told me to try it out & send it back for an exchange if it doesn't
have a 2D version on the disc.
Anyway doesn't matter now as I took it in to work and sold it off to
a work mate. Got my money back. Left a positive feedback for the seller.
