Yarp - I'll go with that too.

Started out OK-ish, but quickly descended into throwaway crap. I'll NEVER watch it again that's for sure.

The only good things about it were some of Chris Hemsworth's lines and Kate McKinnon's acting AND lines in every scene she was in.

.
Didn't watch. I refuse to spend any money on it. :lol

I don't normally double dip but...

I was watching my UK steelbook Shining disc when my wife pointed out a bunch of missing scenes. We switched to the US disc and wow they cut out a bunch of stuff on the UK disc!

Wow that sucks.
This is my favorite of Kubrick's work. It's perfect as is. Nothing should be cut.

Nice haul!

I'll be getting X-Men Apoc tomorrow too.

Thanks! I really have to slow down lol

Can't wait to see that one for the first time and on UHD.
I will be buying it sight unseen as well... and by all means, please do NOT slow down. :D :duff

Think my folks are hitting me with an Xbox One S for the birthday, so hoping to see a 4k film this week on my TV.
Double check that the Xbox One S has an HDMI 2.0 cable packaged with it. If not you can pick one up fairly cheap.

Good checking, brother! I'll definitely make sure!

My one came with one.

Also just a heads up but Forza Horizon 3 & Gears of War 4 are both HDR enhanced games so will both be worth picking up if you are at all into shiny drivey games & bleak shooters :)

I'm waiting until my 4K HDR set is here before I play either of them...don't want the experience diluted by seeing them in boring old 1080p on my 6 year old Plasma first ;) lol

LOL! Right! :)

I sold almost 90% of my BD collection this past month. There were some movies that I haven't even opened in 6-7 years, insane.

The selection of 4K BD's, even on amazon, is very limited and I don't believe that's going to change. These past couple of years, about 100% of my movie watching was done by the way of streaming.

Yes, the quality might not be the same as BD, or 4K BD in this case, but I'm at the point where the convenience beats paying for BD's anymore.

Anyone feels the same?

Yes, standard HDMI is only good up to 1080p. For 4K you need a 4K HDMI cable.

Absolutely wrong. You've been scammed/lied to and likely overpaid.

All you need is a $4 HDMI that amazon sells and it does 4K just fine, as most cables nowadays are "high speed HDMI" and that's all you need.

Please. Please, do not overpay for HDMI cables!

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS 4K HDMI CABLES.

There are a LOT of movies on VHS that they never made into DVD's, same with DVD to Blu Ray. If you didn't keep the physical media and it's not offered via a streaming service, it's lost forever. Hate to say it, but for this reason you may live to regret selling off your collection. Just my .02 cents.
