The werewolves look similar in appearance to some of the lycans in Underworld, but Dog Soldiers was released a year earlier.

I saw this figure years ago; I should have bought it. :(

That's a very good list. Love all the Halloweens and Re-Animator is awesome too. :hi5:

It's a few years old now. It's a shame that the creature design will probably be long forgotten among the many horror icons out there.

Indeed. It's not as popular over here compared to the Underworld and Twilight franchises, the latter of which I don't even enjoy.

Here we go! I started my Halloween movie watching early as usual.

  1. Excision *
  2. Tales from the Crypt Season 7 *
  3. Lake Mungo *
  4. Joy Ride
  5. The Hills Run Red *

* Indicates it is my first time watching.

I'm thinking since this is my first year with a Blu Ray player, I may just see how many films I can buy on Blu Ray and watch...could make things interesting.

Do it! I have been cutting back on my media purchases, except for horror. Although now, if there is a movie I want to see and it isn't on netflix instant and I know I won't ever watch it again, I will rent it on amazon.

I'm a year round horror guy. I save movies with trick or treating and/or jack o lanterns for closer to Halloween.

I actually watched a couple last week that I had assumed were horror since that's the section they were in. In the end, not so much horror. Still enjoyable/intriguing.

I did enjoy Oculus (yes, horror) and it's on Netflix to stream.
Dream House was great. Didn't seem horror to me but I can get where people might feel that way.
The Tall Man was actually more sad in the end. I enjoyed it.
