Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

You guys would know. Did they make a1/6 pinhead? I see they just put up a Mars attack item. But not 1/6.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

Nope, no 1/6 Hellraiser.

Hot Toys did 1/6 Mars Attacks though.

I just saw that new Mars Attacks statue and it's pretty boss, the exploded human corpse on it is brutal, actually kinda makes you hate the martians which is really effective. :lol

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

I'm hoping to get through the Tales From the Crypt boxsets. Last year, I cancelled my order for the first four to get the Spook Kit.

I have 1, 6 & 7. Almost ordered 2-5 this morning, but went with the fifth hardcover volume of Vampirella instead.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

didn't even know they put tales of the crypt on dvd will have to check that out.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

I want to get Tales from the Cryptkeeper instead. :p

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

Kicked off my horror watching with my first today. Insidious. I like it quite a lot and thought it was the perfect film to start with.

I've got YellowBrickRoad dvr'd and Child's Play as well. So I guess those will be the next.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

really liked insidious but when i saw the old woman with candle= i didn't sleep that night lol

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

The first time I saw Insidious I thought I was going to have to turn it off. And this is coming from a woman who lives for this stuff. But I stuck with it and ended up really enjoying it, thinking I would never see it again. Then Netflix messed up my dvd's and re-sent me Insidious. Evil *******s. So I watched it again. After that, I decided it was going to be in my top 10 of favorite horror films.

I am currently writing up a schedule for the next 2 weeks of Horror.

I have yet to watch that film but I'm planning to. I'm going to start off with the Universal Monsters Blu-Ray set in Oct and then move on to the Exorcist, Halloween and Freddy series, and a whole list of stuff :yess:

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

I'm going to start with...

Nosferatu
Dracula
Frankenstein
The Mummy
Freaks
Island of Lost Souls

How it goes after that, I'll have to see.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

So far I watched Friday the 13th 1-4, The Crazies remake, and Silent Hill. Tomorrow I am watching The Fog and Daughters of Darkness.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

Might view this TriBeCa film I saw on Netflix earlier when I get home tonight.

Don't go into the woods.

Anybody?

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

Lots of goodies making it's way on blu this year. Already picked up Halloween 4&5. Scream Factory's Halloween 2 and 3 are on it's way. Going to pick up re-animator, Killer Klowns and Texas Chainsaw 2 by the weekend. With Jeeper Creepers, The Funhouse, Rosemary's Baby and Tom's Savini's Night Of The Living Dead coming up soon, it's going to be another good line up for the month of October.

If the last hour was as good as the first then Insidious would be such as great film. But man it fell apart in the second hour. My wife was actually afraid to go downstairs by herself in the first hour but by the end of the film she was no longer scared. The film just gets to goofy.

I love watching the Frankenstein films. From the first to Fank meets the wolfman. I also enjoy the original Wolfman. These films are great Halloween time fun.

I find that Dracula is just about unwatchable. Never been a fan really. Not a Mummy fan either.

Oh yeah Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein is a must every Halloween.
