Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

I love watching the Frankenstein films. From the first to Fank meets the wolfman. I also enjoy the original Wolfman. These films are great Halloween time fun.

I find that Dracula is just about unwatchable. Never been a fan really. Not a Mummy fan either.

Oh yeah Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein is a must every Halloween.

I've been looking to buy that one but it's $27 and always out of stock on Amazon.ca...I'll have to look around and get it.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

i cannot wait for the blu ray universal monsters set. that will definitely kick off my season.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

When I get back from lunch today, I'll be watching I Know What You Did Last Summer and probably Child's Play.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

Too early to get all reved up, I think I'll wait til October 1st. Maybe pop in Silence of the Lambs this weekend if I have some spare time, maybe.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

I think today I can finally get to I Know What You Did Last Summer and Child's Play.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

That's just wrong BG. But actually, I think it is the reason I put in the bluray last night...

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

Should we change this thread title to 2012 now?

I got these for $5 a piece at Wal-Mart. :yess

:1-1:

I skipped IKWYDLS and watched Cabin in the Woods instead. Gotta watch the new episode of Haven today. And then I'll decide. Probably nothing all weekend because of football. :(

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

Watched Breakdown today. It's not a horror but it's still fun with the suspense. And I finally finished IKWYDLS. Now, onto football! I am hoping I can find another great movie to watch tomorrow. Maybe The Hills Have Eyes or something.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

These are always a must for me:
The Leech Woman
Invasion of the Body snatchers
The thing that couldn't die
Exorcist

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

Kicking off my Halloween movie viewing this weekend in my theater with....Halloween 1978, Halloween II, and H20 (the others in the series don't exist for me :lol)

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

Funny, I have those three films in my horror collection in that exact sequence. I pretty much skip 4 and 5, and whatever else there was until H2O.

Tonight is: From Hell

I love a thoughtful, near reality based, genre flick with great acting, a solid story and subplots, and especially atmosphere.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

I've been in a Halloween mood since stores started putting out the decor and candy 2 weeks ago. :lol

I've watched about 8 horror movies since then.
Tonights feature, The Ring.

Re: Your 2011 October/Halloween Movie List

Went on a date tonight and when we got home she said "Let's watch Friday The 13th and Halloween."
I think she's a keeper. :yess: :lol
