I love this one.
I remember it being one of the few times I've seen Christopher Lee NOT playing as Dracula.

Yeah I've seen clips of it and really wanted to see but, Lee seems like he does a great job as the monster. Might have to track it down for Halloween.

Started my Halloween countdown with Halloween (original) and Poltergeist.

It was the first time I watched Poltergeist and it´s a great movie.

Saw it on Blu-ray and it was done that perfect I can´t beleive that this film is that old.

Have to admit that this damn clown scared the hell out of me! lol

Definitely make some effort to see this one. You'll enjoy it.

Cool, thanks. I think the blu ray comes out on my birthday, might have to pick it up as a present to myself, just in time to join in my halloween viweing.

Great start, I'm saving halloween for halloween night. If I can pick up the new blu ray of halloween 2 I'll watch them both back to back. Will be sweeeet. :)

Wasn´t sure which film I want to watch at halloween - decision between Halloween and Trick´r Treat (I never watched before) so Trick´r Treat has won the race!

Will watch till halloween:

Killer Clowns from outer Space
Nightmare on Elm Street (all of them)
Friday 13th (all of them)
Hellraiser (1-3)
Insidious
Dead Silence
The Thing Original
The Thing Prequel
Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake
Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning
Ring
Ring 2
Grudge
Trear´r Treat (at Halloween of course)
Dawn of the Dead Original
Dawn of the Dead Remake
Zombie
Day of the Dead
Land of the Dead
House at the Cementary
Child´s Play
...if I have time maybe some other horrormovies

and Coraline and Monster House! ;-)

Ahh trick r treat is awesome. It reminds me of tales from the crypt. A really great halloween movie. If you have the dvd the little animated short is great as well. I lent my copy to my cousin and never got it back, might just buy it again on blu ray. Wouldn't be halloween without it.

:lecture Sam is awesome and this was a sleeper hit for me.

I saw the bluray the other day at Walmart in their bargain bin. Something like $5 -$10.

No way, that's a steal. I think the cheapest I've found it here is about £9. Still not bad I guess. Definitely need to buy it again I think. As you said, was a sleeper hit. Think I stumbled onto it on here somewhere so pre ordered it and was greatly surprised when it came out. An instant classic if ever there was one.

No Problem, just makes me more looking forward to halloween! :hi5:

Is there a halloween hype in england like in US?

Germany just started a little bit in the last two years I think...

Sadly not, no. You might get two or three horror films shown on halloween but that's about it. There's very little happening over here. As a kid it was much better, spooky documentaries, halloween specials, old fashioned horror films, decorations, trick or treating. Nowadays though there's practically nothing. Its actually my dream to one day go to the US for halloween. Its something I've always enjoyed ever since I was a kid. No one else I know seems to get it. :lol

****ed up thing about trick r treat is that it couldn't get a theater release

I know, would have been great to see it in a cinema, but then I think it helps feel like more of a cult classic the way it was released. I heard they were working on a sequel a while back but whatever happened there I'm not sure.
