Hahaha, its ok man, no offense taken. It totally sucks. I feel like such an outcast as I absolutely love halloween, my favourite time of the year, yet nothing is ever really done about it. It is my dream to one day visit the US for halloween. I did go to LA for holiday a few years back, stayed on the sunset strip, and I can imagine at halloween it'd be pretty awesome.

That's exactly the street!
Sunset Blvd gets closed down in the West Hollywood area and the freaks pour in.

You just have to be careful with some of the women there... you can see their balls hanging out of their skirts. :horror :panic:

Haha, we'll despite the threat of freaky ladyboys it still sounds like the place I should return to for Halloween. Hopefully one day. It is my goal to one day visit the US again during Halloween.

Salem, Massachusetts has an impressive Halloween festival also. It lasts the whole month of October and is comparable to Mardi Gras.

Thanks buddy, will check some of those out later. Actually always wanted to go there too. Where I live there's a river with an old dunking stool from the old days when they would dunk suspected witches. I visited it as a kid and became fascinated with the whole mythology etc.

I would guess Salem is the epicenter of some great Halloween events.

Yeah, I can imagine it must be a great place to visit, with all its history.

I haven't seen ghoulies since I was a kid. I always got it confused with critters. Were they quite similar? Saw them both as a kid but not really since.

At work again tonight but have nightmare on elm street, frankenstein, halloween 4 and friday the 13th part 8. So will watch one of those later. I know friday 13 part 8 is hardly the best sequel but it has a sort of trashy 80's vibe I quite like. Find it quite nostalgic. Will watch some of the better sequels when I'm at home.

The Ghoulies were witchcraft. Critters were from an asteroid I think

My universal monsters set came today so getting ripped into that already, watching wolf man the PQ is fantastic on blu.

I wish Halloween had a bigger presence over here too especially since it has its roots in Britain. My fav holiday by far! :winkpumpk

Watching the second half of season two of the Walking Dead on bluray and drinking this...

Ahhh pumpkin beer... an October tradition of mine.

I hope you do.

Thanks man. :hi5: it's the dream. :)

I was always partial to Ghoulies 2.

Gremlins > Critters > Ghoulies > Munchies

I don't really remember ghoulish or critters very well. Haven't seen them in like 20 years or something. Love gremlins though. I always think of gremlins as more of a Christmas movie though.

Onto a nightmare on elm street now. :yess: just watched the simpsons treehouse of horror 6: nightmare on evergreen terrace, now settling down with my spook mug from last year to watch Freddy. :)
