Just shut off Army of Darkness halfway through. Don't get the love for this one :dunno

^ It's more of an obnoxious comedy than anything else dude. It's meant to be corny. I found Army of Darkness hilarious at times.

Ya I got that it wasn't supposed to be serious, but man was it dumb and corny.

I've never been a big fan of AOD either, it's too silly. It doesn't have the freakiness and black comedic undertone that the first two did. With that being said, Evil Dead 1 and 2 are awesome and classics in the genre!

Haven't seen those in a while but I remember liking them.

They're pretty cheap to pick up on blu lately if you want to rewatch them for Halloween.

Evil Dead 1- $12.99 on Amazon and Evil Dead 2 - 12.99 at Futureshop.

Or just torrent them :D

Hey thanks Jamie, I'll check that out ! Nah, torrents that look good on my 112" screen are way too big to download LOL

No worries my friend! If you bought AOD then just give it to your kid, he'll probably enjoy the corniness of it :lol But Evil Dead 1 & 2 are actually decent, and pretty damn freaky.

112", you lucky bastard! :thud: :lol

Thankfully I only PVR'd AOD. Yes 112" is nice ! Ya ya I know, that's what she said :lol

I don't think I've actually PVR'd a movie in years... considering the amount of movies I watch, I've probably saved thousands thanks to Canada being a torrenting safe haven :yess: :lol

I only really buy blu's that are classics or movies that I truly enjoyed. Speaking of which, I hope you picked up the new Indy collection. The remastered audio and picture sound amazing in surround sound!!! :clap

Nice! Have you seen The Raid: Redemption yet? Another quality film and blu-ray right there. The sound editing alone is Oscar worthy. :lecture

No haven't seen that one yet. Keep hearing about it but i have so much to watch still. I have a pile of 60 Blus waiting to be watched plus a lot of PVR's stuff.

I HIGHLY recommend it. Easily the best action flick I've seen in a long time, if ever. Bump this one to the top, you won't regret it- trust me!

Yeah for real man that is a badass flick on a shoestring budget, not watched in ages I'll add it to the list. I like The descent too, that scared me ****less when I first watched it.

It was just me and my girl in the cinema watching The Descent (we went to an early showing) and it was terrifying.:clap

Have to confess I've never seen any of the evil dead movies, I'll have to fix that this year.

I've watched wolf man and Frankenstein so far from the blu set, the restoration is stunning on these!
