Nice, I started my viewing off with night of the living dead. My fav zombie movie. Was thinking of putting on dawn of the dead later tonight too. You watching the original or the remake?

Right now the original.

Was thinking of Return of Living Dead next. One of my favorites. Tar man rules! :D :rock

I watched return of the living dead 2 a couple of nights ago. I bought it on DVD a little while ago but realised I had it confused with the first one. Wasn't as keen on part 2. Loved the first film though. :hi5:

Dog Soldiers is a modern favourite of mine.:yess:

Yeah for real man that is a badass flick on a shoestring budget, not watched in ages I'll add it to the list. I like The descent too, that scared me ****less when I first watched it.

My girlfriends aunt bought me the descent for Christmas a couple of years ago but I've never gotten around to watching it. But I've heard lots of good things about it.

Watching Final Chapter, Day of the Dead, and the Don't Be Afraid of the Dark remake with my niece tonight. Might watch Sleepy Hollow while the sun goes down.

Cool, I've been saving final chapter as its one of my favs. Watched original nightmare on elm street earlier, can't decide what else to watch tonight.

This is my new fav thread in the run up to Halloween :D

Not really horror but Signs with mel gibson freaks me out very single time, one of the few films that genuinely scares me, that shot at the kids party :horror :thud:

Do you enjoy slashers more? Or psychological thrillers?

Both, big fan of the old classic slashers, like thrillers too in the vein of silence of the lambs etc. love zombie movies, the old hammer stuff, the universal classics. I was gonna watch Frankenstein but would rather wait to get the blu rays.

Nice, you working your way through the Frankenstein classics? I realised Halloween H20 was on tv tonight so decided to just leave that one. I was really tempted to watch Frankenstein then bride of Frankenstein but I'm gonna make myself wait until I get the universal monsters blu ray set.

I haven't watched the first two yet. I'll watch those on Blu-ray when my set arrives.

And I just finished House of Frankenstein (1944).

Gotta add Frankenweenie to the list now, saw it tonight and it has so many classic horror references I was having as much fun matching the references as watching the film with my kids.
