I'm not sure what made me go look at my orders on my sideshow account just now but I'm glad I did because my order for this 2 pack set was already processing! Totally unexpected and I never received a heads up email from Sideshow about it. Fortunately they were able to put my order on a flexpay for now. So FYI for anyone who PO'd this on day one, you may want to check if your order is also being processed.

Good to know. I was gonna get this direct but I can’t get it cheaper than from sideshow which is pretty rare.
I ordered 1 st day on this too but no doubt il be one of the last to get it

You never know with Sideshow. Hopefully you'll get a notification from them soon about your order processing. This was just sooner than I expected and not ready to shell out $550 right now. It wouldve been a different story if I received that heads up email first but oh well.

Thank you! I got the set for Superman as I love Superman and Cavill so much have every previous version, however I was mad in the morning when I saw the pictures, still had a hope they'd update at least his hair... anyway I'll be still very happy with the set, I don't have Ben's Batman so he will be welcomed in my collection! About Superman I'll just switch the headsculpt with the one I got from Kit,deep down I knew hot toys wouldn't bother to update the head so I have that headsculpt ready since it was released lol It looks very nice in person and way better likeness than any other mass produced 1/6 Cavill heads imo. I was a very active member of #releasethesnydercut movement since day 1 so this set has a special meaning!

The sculpt is better, but the paintwork is a bit lacking and basic compared to the HT head. Although I've seen some repaints that show just how good the sculpt can look.

You are welcome!It's a very good sculpt, keep in mind in the video I'm using flash,so details are washed out, (it was dark lol) in person it is amazing! Of course Hot Toys paint technology is better, but custom sculpt is perfect in person imo. Likeness is definitely better just in general. I always thought Hot Toys Man of Steel sculpt was way better than BvS, if they used MOS sculpt with updated paint I wouldn't be as mad. Reusing BvS sculpt third time is too much.

This is one of my all-time favorite figures, It will be great to have the set to display together, but this version isn't going anywhere.

Cool thanks. Not sure what clamp yours has, but they have been adding foam to the inside of more recent waist grabbers I believe.

It just needs to distribute the clamp load over a larger area, not pinpointed.

The clamp is the basic plastic one that came with MoS Superman. I took him off the clamp. He was ever so slightly stuck to it. No surface marks at all on the suit. There is what appears to be a sight indent but I honestly can't tell if it's from the clamp or it's just where his lats taper in.

I'll never know why they didn't simply add a small hole in his back for a peg on the dynamic stand to to insert into.

With the cape you would not see it. (sure people would complain) but I'd prefer a small plugged hole, over potentially wrecking the sides of the figure and having unsightly calipers around his waist (in full view from the front).

I can't believe they have come up with something better by now. Same with cowls that let the heads turn. Proper wired capes etc. Hopefully, more companies doing higher quality 1/6 figures could make them up their game.

I have yet to try this but it looks easy enough. It’s the only way I’d try a hovering pose with him. I‘ve had mine in a museum pose since I got him.
