Paint apps on that sculpt is a let down. I expected a drop off from proto but still very disappointing

Yup, for whatever reason Hot Toya glued them in.

So stupid.

I decided to take a closer look inside the cowl.

The amount of glue was insignificant and only located on the corners of the eyeplate. Heating the mask with the hair dryer, I used a very small knife to basically scratch some of the glue off of the corners, and then using pliers, I was able to pull and remove the eyes… ( probably they could just be pulled with the plier after heating it up, maybe no need to use the knife)

Not a risky process really… now I can change the eyes!

That’s incredible. What coat are you using here?

Also, does anyone here have a preference between the Daftoys coat and the Hot Toys 2.0 coat? I only have the first release of Knightmare Batman, where the coat isn’t too great. I’m looking to upgrade it.

Thanks! It’s Al Iglesias’ coat, very nice but a little pricy, comes with a lot of extra goodies though.

Only other coat I had besides the stock one was the OSK coat, none of them really do it for me as I prefer the longer length of this custom one.

Curious, why did you opt for the black version? It was gray in the film. The wait times for his capes is absolutely ridiculous to say the least. Did you pre order it 2 years ago?

Tbh I just noticed that preorders were still open on it only two months ago, and decided to get in on it.

While the cape is clearly gray in many (probably most) shots, in some scenes it shows up as black. Which I guess is a trick of lighting. But I just like the look of it better than the gray.
