Personally, I'd include "Batman v Superman" in that list cause most of it was just an adaptation of 80s and 90s "grimdark" DC books. I liked it though cause that's my era of comics.

Other than these three movies, I can't sit through anything else he's done.
I went to see BvS in cinema and it ruined my day.

I still remember opening night and the derisive laughter (and one distinct "Are you bleeping kidding me??") during the "Martha" moment.
I’m not even the biggest Batman fan, or much of one at all, but even I found it ridiculous that he was just straight up killing criminals in that movie too. Batmobile equipped with actual lethal weapons.

"Deconstruction" is a term that gets thrown around a lot in here (and on Food challenges)... yet it is never really explained what exactly he's 'deconstructing' and how his take reveals the hypocrisy and inconsistencies of the genre and how he reinterprets that.

The movie is a straight, by-the-numbers, cliched use of the 'Constructed' formula. Nothing has been turned on its head. There is no reveal of irony. No challenge to the formula at all.

I don't know... but maybe he's trying to "deconstruct" the classic "hero" in fantasy and sci-fi movies here.

Since here the "hero" does not save the princess but instead it is revealed that the "heroine" is the one that actually killed the princess herself and is now trying to live with it... Or at least she thought she did... Big reveal at the end :horror

It is not done very well though...

It’s almost as if his only 2 watchable movies were watchable because they were adapted from pre-existing IP (300 & Watchmen).

The guy just isn’t a good filmmaker or creator.
He’s really not and his fanbase kinda seemed to stem from a joke. When the dc movies came out they were hated and despised then after JL movie died you had guys joking how the Snyder movies were deep and nobody understands them then all of a sudden people started to actually believe it was deep and so on.
Then Snyder just kinda baited them into believing this and incited people to release the Snyder cut. Then afterwards they got greedy and wanted the whole universe bavk and of course Snyder baited them into believing it would come back.
They should of never given him his cut cause now he thinks he can just fix a movie with his cut lol

Huge Batman fan. Loved the batsuit. Loved the voice and loved how angry he was. Couldn’t wait for the movie. I was excited for the future.

Saw the movie. Hated that Bruce was 50 and Clark 20 or 30 something. Hated how he was like some alcoholic, hated him branding people like some psycho and hated how he suddenly loves Superman at the end cause they have the same mom name.

Again it’s not terrible it’s just not good and he’s not someone who should headline a universe. It’s WBs fault for giving him so much free reign then when it sucked they back tracked on him

the dude who played cyborg. He was promised his own movie (nobody wouldve watch that) and to be on the level of Black Panther. When it all fell through they scrapped the plans they had so he began crying on the internet on how he waswronged. At first everyon ewas on his side but then once the snyder cut came to be he wouldn't stop crying about how he was treated and how any Dc movie that comes out is bad and pretty much his whining black balled him from being in any movie again and the only person who will put him in a movie is snyder but just barely and so of course he is going to shill and glaze the man extra heavy cause he's the only person who will give him a chance again.

I felt for the guy but he played a crap cyborg and was even more boring in that snyder cut. Should of just shut up and joined the MCU or something but the dude kept bitching everyday and it got on everyones nerves and he still does to this day. Even crying about the new Superman movie. Like dude get a life.
The Cyborg movie wouldn't have been on the same level as Black Panther. It would have been way better.

The recent Podcast Alatar posted, he goes over this. Stating the PG-13 doesn't deconstruct the way the R rated version does.

I've heard this before. I saw it in a packed theatre and no one laughed. That I could hear anyway. Plus there are a lot of people where what is happening goes right over people's heads.

He's lost his way, that's a huge part of his arc. If anything it's the only Batman live-action movie where they address that he is going too far because all of them bar Clooney end up killing people.
Like Keaton's Batmobile or Bales Batpod?

Trying to sum up (and failing badly) how the fans of something you don't like, understand and appreciate the material they enjoy is bizarre.

Hard to tell if you are being funny here or you didn't understand it either.

But it sucked. One of the core pillars of Batman is his no kill rule.

The Batman doesn’t kill anyone. And imo it’s the only good live action Batman movie.

Of course, it's a core pillar hence why he has an arc where he's bitter and in the wrong.

He roasted plenty of people on the highway and then strutted over to Penguin with them cooking in a fireball behind him. The Schumacher movies aside The Batman is the least of all live-action Batman movies.

O yea totally. A movie about a character nobody connected with and who works better with teen titans would have been so much better than black panther . A character that has been hyped up for so long

Ok then please enlighten me on why all of a sudden everyone thought Snyder was this deep poet after he pretty much gaslit people into thinking each scene had a deep meaning to it when it didn’t

If you think no one connected with Cyborg you are wrong.
Black Panther was a super average MCU movie, I believe the Cyborg movie would have crushed it.
