No worries. Either way, who cares? We're both joking around. :rock

No, I was dead serious. But yeah, who cares? :rock

Those coming to SDCC, bring your book with you, try to meet up with me and I'll do my best to get it signed by Zack, Clay and Alex.

Yeah well I had pre-ordered what was to be a limited signed and numbered HC edition of the Art of Sucker Punch, by Zack Snyder, but then the whole thing got scrapped. oh Well. good luck in SDCC

damn how did you get it so soon? Amazon says the 22nd....

can you post some photos of your fave pages?

It's already out in the UK.

I havnt had a chance to look at it yet. Empire says there's a couple of major spoilers in the book so look with caution :)

The new Empire mag has the book reviewed and they mention a limited edition with a few art prints in it but i can't find anything :dunno

Interesting allegations made in this article:

The article is mainly about Superman so here is just the part about Sucker Punch.

Rumor: ‘Superman’ Has Third Act Issues; WB Unhappy With ‘Sucker Punch’?
Posted on Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 by Russ Fischer

We just talked about the fact that Sherlock Holmes director Guy Ritchie has reportedly been offered the director’s chair on Xerxes, the sequel to 300. That comes as a bit of a shock, because that had previously been thought to be a Zack Snyder sequel, full stop. He did 300, then 300 more or less defined him, and he has been developing Xerxes with original graphic novel author Frank Miller. As of last summer the script was under way.

Along with the report that Xerxes might go to another director there were some allegations about script problems on Superman, which Zack Snyder is currently set to direct, and that his just-completed Sucker Punch hasn’t tested well, leading to studio dissatisfaction and the Xerxes handoff. So what’s going on here?
...

The site also says that Sucker Punch has been testing poorly and WB really isn’t happy with it. Based on the trailer alone I can swallow the idea that Sucker Punch isn’t good, or at least isn’t testing well. The movie looks like a mess to me. And yet I’ve been told by people who’ve seen a lot more of it that there are good things in there. Right now we don’t know the truth about the tests, and I wouldn’t take the anonymous report as gospel yet. I’d focus on the fact that Superman is going to be an all-encompassing task, and we’ll evaluate Sucker Punch for what it is when the film is actually released at the end of March.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sucker Punch turns out to be a box office failure which reaches an ultimate Cult Classic status later.
There's just so much random stuff in it, that it might be too much for the regular movie-goer.

As for me, I like all that random stuff; dragons fighting planes, blimps, nazi-like soldiers, orcs and a bunch of hot chicks with numerous different weapons battling them...

I'm definitely gonna see this in the theatre. I don't think I've ever been dissapointed by a Zack Snyder film...

Pfft! I know Russ pretty well. He lives here in ATL and is part of us original group of CHUD folks. He's a cool dude, but a dyed-in-the- wool contrarian.

Besides, SP has been testing fine (just ask The Ill Jedi). WB knows exactly what it is, though. They're not expecting a mega box office sensation. And it doesn't need to be. Like WATCHMEN they're just counting on it to be profitable.

SUPERMAN is another story. That's obviously as big a property as WB has. I don't know of the big script issues this article claims, but incidentally any that exist at this point can't be laid at Zack's feet. Up to now that script has been the responsibility of the Nolans and David Goyer (the latter of which should be the obvious default scapegoat, if anyone).

Wouldn't surprise me either.
