I feel like some people pre-order one of his figs, have it for a month or 2, then sell it in order to get his next "greatest figure yet", then continue that cycle on every new figure announced. Like, "I've gotten every Rainman figure ever! (but I've never owned more than one at a time)"

I am really sad this sold out so quickly, i held on to hope that when people posted "there will be enough for everyone" that it was true and that I could wait a couple weeks till I had the cash for this set, but it seems like it is gone forever .

I think that was probably meant in relative terms. "Everyone who is ready and willing to buy when it comes up for order." I'm guessing Rainman is producing 50-60 of the outfits (depending on the as-yet-unreleased edition size of the "full sets"). And it was up for a few hours. In Rainman terms, that's enough to satisfy the bulk of those who want one.
Yes. I was expecting hours in best case but had no doubt these were gone on Dec 6. Its the nature of this hobby. You snooze, you lose.

Don't fret bud, you'll get it with good sniping in the for sale section. It always happens.
Keep checking Rainman's site, Wonka's listing has kept changing over the last couple of weeks. Marty's has done the same the last couple of days. Come next Monday, chances are someone won't pay on time and the order will be cancelled.
