Call it hot, pretty, cute, whatever, she doesn't come off as a believable Carrie.

Yeah exactly, she looks like an attractive girl. No denying it. As you said, someone that would no doubt have a ton of friends. Especially in this "geek is cool" type of fad at the minute. There's no way she'd be an outcast.

I knew what ya meant. I really could care less about this remake, remaining or whatever they want to call this. To be honest, never cared for the original. Hopefully it will turn out ok for those looking forward towards it.

I liked the original, don't love it, but its ok. Enjoyed it as a young teenager, especially being hardly one of the "cool kids " myself it struck a chord. Still, don't generally like the idea of all these constant remakes but as I said, would give it the benefit of the doubt. I didn't mind the platinum dunes remakes. But yeah, just seems like a terrible idea and I have a bad feeling this will just be terrible. Oh well. Didn't interest me overly to begin with. Just annoyed at the typical Hollywood mentality of casting attractive girls regardless of what the part calls for.

Dude, you HAVE to if you enjoy monster movies and like things along the lines of the goonies. But with a little more gore. Admittedly I grew up watching it so have a nostalgic feeling towards it too. But it is great fun.

no, but what is. I just got halloween 2 today on blu ray, the collectors edition with all the extras. I'm thinking of watching Halloween followed by Halloween 2 on Halloween night. . Blu ray double feature of the ultimate Halloween movie and its most worthwhile sequel.
