Just watched the movie a 2nd time. My friend loved the movie, hes only sad that Superman isn't the Donner type.

While it didn't bother me that much initially, Batman killing does so more now for me mow. It just makes no sense. If he kills why doesn't he carry weapons. Why isnt he an all out Punisher type. Why is the joker alive?

We've covered this before: It's pretty new for him. The Batman before the Black Zero Event had a No Kill policy and didn't use firearms of any kind (his Batmobile previously didn't have guns, either). I imagine this might be covered in the solo Batman film or even Justice League somehow. But the idea is that the Batman in BvS is even more unhinged and gives even less of a toss. But he was not always that way, and may indeed change back to his No-Kill ways.

WARNING, ANOTHER BASEBALL ANALOGY: Johns reminds me of a talented minor league baseball prospect who once had huge upside and lots of hype and buzz, but was promoted to the major leagues prematurely and thus had his full potential stunted. Then he became a Player-Manager and got even worse.

I know nothing about baseball... BUT! I played once in Elementary School and recently saw Moneyball so I think I got the gist of it... And yeah, I agree. He did some great things on his GL and Flash books, but he essentially became DC's Bendis. Granted, I still like him more than Bendis (****ing Bendis), but he needs to have his role in the company reduced a bit.

The Terminator: "Why do you kill?"
Bruce Wayne: "You mean people?"
The Terminator: "Yes."
Bruce Wayne: "I don't know. We just kill. You know, when you're mad."
The Terminator: "Anger causes it?"
Bruce Wayne: "No, it's when there's nothing wrong with taking someone to jail but you want them to die anyway. You get it?"
The Terminator: "No."
Superman: "I do!"

Oh yeah, that was Dyson in Batman v Superman.

There's so much going on in BvS. It's so dense, every single image has so many things going on.
