I'm getting so sick of hearing this, he was just as bad as everyone else. Yea he looked the part, yea he sounded the part, but in episodes 2 & 3, man there are some unbearable moments. Off the top of my head: when he is talking to Dex in the diner, and then when he is talking to Padme in RotS " I saw him...killing younglings"
I wanna puke.
Am I the only one?

No. You are not.

But there were some great moments too.

Ian McDermaid had some wonderful acting moments. As did Liam Neeson. Heck, I even liked Jimmy Smit's acting and the Swedish lady who played Schmi Skywalker [sic].

The script was a far worse problem than bad acting in the PT.

As disappointed as I was in the prequels (they were all ok as part of a stand alone alt universe Star Wars, just crap prequels to the story of Luke Skywalker, that I watched as a kid)... nothing could prepare me for the low point of watching Clone Wars in the theatres and having Anakin's apprentice call him "Sky-Guy"

I was only speaking of ewan, and I love the prequels for the most part, and agree they all have some amazing moments, including ewan, I'm just sick of the whole " ewan was the only good thing" nonsense

Haha I agree about the introduction of Ashoka, but damn if she didn't turn out to be one of the coolest Star Wars characters

Yeah I still don't see evil...

I think she's gonna give the Luke and Kylo tag team a run for their money.

The real victims here will be the Internet Mary Sue Brigade. Once Rey gets properly trained they won't know what to talk about anymore.

They'll have to double down on the "ugly Marvel" until youtube supplies a new horsey.

She used a door to chop off those poor rathtar's tenticles...That was pretty dark.

But they deserved it. Those rathtars owed her money.

IMO thiat scene didn't give me a Dark Side vibe. Neither did the scene in TPM when Obi-Wan fought Darth Maul.

Its not "looming darkness" but rather a natural predilection to the Dark. Greys are by nature drawn to that which they are not conditioned in. Anakin was naturally drawn to the Dark but suppressed it out of love for Obi-Wan and Padme. As he lost trust in Obi-Wan and The Jedi he began to consider embracing his inkling. Palpatine saw how strong the Dark made him and pushed him to open his mind to it, but Anakin's loyalty (conditioning) made him continue to reject it for the sake of his friends (The Jedi) so Palps had to create a different way to make him embrace the Dark.

Kylo is going through the same thing but in the reverse effect. He's being groomed to be a powerful Dark-Sider but its not working. He finds himself drawn more to the Light than the Dark, even after murdering Han. While murder made Anakin powerful, it made Kylo weak.

If Kylo begins to embrace the Light he'll become very powerful.

I can buy into your theory about Kylo, which I find interesting BTW, but not Rey.

There are allusions to Luke going off on Vader in RotJ and Anakin vs Obi-Wan in RotS. She attacks Kylo, ready to kill him. She probably would have if the rift didn't separate them.

Even Obi-Wan in TPM gets a touch of the Dark Side. He's visibly angry and rushes at Maul wanting to slice him in half. He almost ends up at the bottom of a well because of it.

I see what you're saying but my opinion remains the same.
