Im fine with futzing and think that is normal for rooted sculpts, but the eyes and the paint app make it look like a wax figure from Madame Tussauds

Adaptors maybe? The GtW sculpt with the paint app is miles ahead and for me, the Asmus's best work so far.

It is the same neck connection.
Isn’t the GTW a ball connection and GTG a magnetic connection?

if you remove GtG's neck joint base (the bit came with the bod)
then you have a standard ball joint, which will fit the GtW head
then you have a standard ball joint, which will fit the GtW head

How about getting the GTW sculpt with GTG's beard and hair then? You'd be onto an instant winner with that

He certainly gets taken up a notch with some stylingYes the underlying sculpt is great, I think everyone agrees with that; it's just the above mentioned that drag it down.
The hair and beard look good once properly styled but a lot of people don't bother which makes the head look like a ball of cotton wool with a face poking out of it

Aye, the beard and hair look great if you spend some time on it! I mean, that sculpt is a dead ringer for McKellen, just a shame about the eyes and paint.
...and plasticy.
While the original hat is not the best, i still prefer the look of fabric over plastic.
I'm looking to add hair to his mustache and eyebrows. Does anyone have a link to the hair that is best to use?
Yeah, I know the brand to get. I've used it before. But I was asking for a link because there's a few different shades and colors aren't my strong suit.
