Well, we already got the black and gold MKVII. I heard we will also get the gold and black MKVII, the matte black and gold MKVII, the gloss black and gold MKVII, and the chrome gold and black MKVII. Exciting times!!

I'm just taking that as the Deadpool and Wolverine reveals will be a lot sooner, next week even? Fingers crossed!

Right. Nearly halfway through the year and we haven't seen bleep from either anniversary announcement.

Well they don’t need to, they’ve basically cornered the two biggest franchises there is.

They have no incentive to make figures from any other franchises unless it’s something Howard personally likes.

85 years of Marvel!!!!!!...and they'll only focus on the MCU.

This is going to be embarrassing.

They do usually make a balls of anniversaries by making stupid variants of an Iron Man or a Venomized version of something.

Not getting my hopes up, but it would only take something like a new Blade to get me hyped.

Instead of making any comic/animated accurate characters they’ll just recolour the MCU versions like they did with that “comic” Batman.

There's no reason for them to do any comic versions now that they have Hono doing them. Unless they do a high-end comic line to compete with themselves. Are they that stupid?

While this sounds like a fail they have done recently (or coming soon) reasonably comic accurate figures of Spidey, Iron Man, Wolverine and Magneto to have me curious.

Man, I bet Hono Studios is very worried about Hot Toys announcing more comic-based figures.
