I might wait to see how it turns out before ordering, but this looks decent to me. The likeness isn't perfect but I see a fair bit of Anya in some of those photos.

The cloak could be a lot better, it's lacking a lot of the colour detail that would make it a really attention-grabbing piece and a big selling point for me.

I would have liked to see that too, but I'm not surprised they went with this look instead. They're probably hoping to get a sales boost from people looking to upgrade their Theron Furiosas with parts from this.

Also, long hair is tough now -- sculpted or rooted...? And rooted is often not easy for 3rd party.

That said, there's a good bet if this one sells, they may try for a leather-clad, long-hair Furiosa.

True. They did a pretty good job with the hair on their Immortan Joe, but this will be much easier.

If they don't make a long-hair Furiosa, I suppose it wouldn't be impossible to add rooted hair to this figure's shaved head, if you wanted to go that route.

I just realised while watching the film again that it's made from a parachute.

Premier made a weak stab at giving it some age...

...but as you wrote there was a lot more colour variation in it due to aging:

I don't think I'd have ever used it on the figure though as I want this to be a more 'classic' Furiosa.

I’m very happy. The other version was cool, but too short & the head was too small to transplant on a properly scaled body. Kinda like that this head sculpt doesn’t nail either actress, but falls in between.

Interesting, I hadn't noticed the parachute connection. I see Premier have done a decent job of capturing some of that in the design of the cloak, but yeah, the colour is way off. I suppose the upside is that it wouldn't be that hard to make your own - find some thin white fabric, cut it to match the pattern of the Premier cloak, then dye it. If the figure turns out really well aside from the cloak I might give it a try. :)

Do premier toys keep to schedule? It says Q4 this year but I dont want to PO something thats gonna be much delayed.

I am still in the process of re-working on my Mad Max figure. Almost every single piece of clothing and accessory needs some form of tweaking, weathering or consideration, including a new head. Same was true for my first Furiosa figure, and I have not even started Wez, which will need a new body, etc. I wish InArt could do these characters justice.

Wez was mostly ok, I did the body swap and modded the shoulder pads, and overall he looks pretty good.

Nice to have a solid base to work from.
