Hot Toys: Batman 85 Years Announcement Speculation

So it's probably not happening if I'm correct. Apart from BvS Bats 2.0 there won't be anything else released.

Then again, as I’m saving so much money on being able to completely ignore HT’s existence these days, I can afford to indulge in much higher quality collectibles.

Keep churning out that trash, Disney. I wouldn’t have felt as comfortable POing the InArt Phoenix Joker 4 pack without the assurance that you’ll be keeping Hot Toys occupied making good figures from crap projects for the foreseeable future.

Yeah anyone that is still surprised by Hot Toys being Hot Toys hasn’t been collecting long enough.

I really don’t understand the appeal of these random Jedi, Sith and video game clone troopers. In fact, I don’t understand the appeal of modern Star Wars in general. I thought it was a dying brand, but it just won’t die!

I love Andor but not a thing was made from it. Gutted.

I am curious to see more about this Dark Side thing though.

.Back in 2009 or 2010 we gave so much attention to them and kept buying all there joker variants and iron man doll’s because “they looked so real” we put so much stock into the company and gassed them up so high that they aren’t held accountable for the stuff they do.
When they announced a figure 99 percent of the time it was released. Not today.
They had a broader range of figures and would make things from films like iglorious bastards and godfather.

They just had a wide range of stuff to put out but now they are so big that all they put out is crap Disney stuff like stormtroopers and various red and gold robots

All my money has been going to third party companies recently as they are the ones releasing figures I am interested in. If HT wants to keep flooding with figures from IPs I have no interest in, that is fine by me.

It's why I started collecting statues in 2020. I'm a DC fan first and foremost, and hot toys does it care about DC. I'm glad I got the Arkham knight Catwoman prime 1 did, because hot toys ain't gonna do it.

I'm happy to collect Star Wars and marvel because I love those characters too, but if I want something DC, that's what the statues are for.

Queen studios 1/4 Ledger Joker is beautiful, the hot toys 1/4 was a half assed piece of junk.

They look well done but what an absolute yawnfest. I feel bad for Hasbro probably being mandated to put those out.

I don’t. They chose to renew their Star Wars license, it’s not forced upon them.

Now its July and still no announcements. It’s hard to be a DC fan when it comes to Hot Toys. However I really hope we see a Ras and Clooney Batman announced. But probably another dark knight figure…

I think Henry Cavill Superman 2.0 will be the next DC announcement. So far, it's all Marvel and Star Wars.

I predict an Artisan Bank Robber Joker and another TDK Batman with removable faceplates that’s somehow better than the new armory Bats, but, also, somehow worse, and that’s a wrap on 2024.

I hope you are in the wrong but knowing Hot Toys a new dark knight suit figure will be coming for sure . But if they love the nolanverse so much why haven’t they done Ras? He was a big villain and even appeared in the tdkr again.

Arkham Knight Batman 2.0 or Arkham Origins Batman, please

Whenever I see threads like this bumped it gives me a few seconds of hope something has been announced.

People want Clooney Batman for the sake of completion? Can't imagine any other reason. I'd be pretty gutted if all we got for this anniversary was Clooney.

A Nicholson 2.0 with two new sculpts. One for the hat, one without hat hair would be nice.

A new Returns Batman with snow themed diorama base I could see them doing.

Any or all of the alternative Keaton suits from the Flash I'd love to see.

Arkham City Batman with improved materials or any of the less armored suits he wore. Not too familiar with the games but I really don't like the Arkham Knight armored look.

Most of all HT need to make a comic Batman. The Hono Wolverine is soo good, minus the thong. Neil Adams style Batman would be perfect for that line.

I can't see HT doing better than Mars just did with their Mob Boss Joker if they were to revisit Nicholson. Paint maybe, but not sculpt.

I would be interested if they decided to pursue like the hono line but Batman comic style figures that would be awesome.
