Figure looks really good. I’ve always liked the look of this armor but never really cared for the movie so I’ll probably pass.

Very fond memories of having the original from Hot Toys, very early on in the start of my collecting game. Ordered through a UK retailer that went bust and to go through a whole ordeal with my bank to reverse charge, 3rd year of uni.

Got a special place for the armour and the film in my heart. This is a huge temptation, looks incredibly good.

Looks much more proportional to the QS version, big improvement. I only ever kept my old 1/6 42 to go with my Pepper helmeted sculpt and plus it never had much resale value. I don't need to shell out $400 or more for that on my shelf, I just wish they'd put out a few more of the original 7 in QS and I'll be done

The people who wanted to put the full figure in the Hulk Buster ruined the Hulkbuster which was a Powerpose at an extreme price point.

Then again, who knows maybe we'll finally get a 2k Hulkbuster that can do it 🙄

"The mark 3 is my last Iron Man armor, that caps it all off from start to finish", I said to myself.

"This is a reasonable conclusion to that part of your collection", I said.

So when do we think this is going up for preorder, eh?

Not wrong. I love my HB but if you compare their proto pictures from before/after introducing the hollow body you can see that the initial proto had much more accurate proportions to the film Hulkbuster (wider around the midsection and generally more squat looking than the version HT eventually made).

This is yet another 2.0 that should have really included Tony's face in the helmet. Makes no sense otherwise! But love the battle-damaged look with the exposed arm.

Yeah the helmet-less look with super battle damage and arm exposed is directly from the poster(s), not a scene in the film

The only other time he had his whole head out was those like 5 seconds on the boat

how good this looks makes me think of how good an Infinity War battle damage MK50 could look as well with the half cracked helmet with open to half the face and one moveable eye similar to the recent Hayden Vader helmets and exposed under armor pieces like this has

Don't worry, coming to you this holiday season for the low, low price of $495

To be real, there's no reason this and a MK50 shouldn't be DX releases with Tony Starks and their civilian outfits.

Awesome, been waiting for this 2.0. I’m sure a new 43 is right around the corner as well, and at this point I wouldn’t even rule out them doing a 2.0 Hulkbuster to fit their 2.0 Mk 43 inside lol.
Eh, doubtful...I don't think the 1.0 HB sold well, despite it being a dope figure...mainly due to size and cost.

Feel free to call me the party pooper but I think the likeness [or lack thereof] on the RDJ sculpt is rough.

Always been a fan of this armor (tied with the Mark VII as my second favorite), but I recently mentally prepared myself to sell the original 1.0 figure, and I don't think I can justify picking up an oversized 2.0 (the 1.0 felt like the right height, even if the proportions weren't great). On the downside, my 1.0 that had little resale value now has even less resale value...

There's some really nice battle damage on this piece (one of my biggest gripes with the 1.0), and it looks pretty good proportionally. Though I'm curious how gangly the deluxe exposed arm is going to look- either it's proportional to a human body and shorter than the armored arm, or it's as long as the armored arm but stretched out of proportion. Also agreed that the head sculpt isn't great and this needs a helmeted head- he wasn't unhelmeted for very long, and definitely not during the car battery scene.
