That Poison Ivy is a must have. And they are finally making an IVY BTAS figure with her wrist arrows device :clap

I’m not a fan of TNBA Ivy so thank you Mondo for doing the right one

Here’s our first look at Scarecrow!

Ivy’s card says she’ll be up “Summer 2024,” so, I could see her coming in the next few months, I was right and Scarecrow’s slated for October, and Clayface says Winter 2024, so, fingers crossed we get him in time for Christmas. I still haven’t gotten a good enough look at Terry’s card in photos to tell when he’s slated for, but damn, I’m excited!

I’m loving Clayface, but I’m a little perturbed by the news that he’s going to have a soft body with an armature inside. That sounds like it could be a QC nightmare…

Why is there never any love for animated riddler?? Funko left him out of the pop line too

Don’t get me wrong I am LOVING this line and the reveals from today but I am missin my greatest green villain (that isn’t Ivy :p)

At this point? I’d just say “give it time.” Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be seeing these four from Mondo, much less going up for order in the same year…

Hopefully, 2025 brings Robin along with a host of others…

I’m not going to pose that thing at all then. I hope mondo really puts their plastic/rubber through rigorous testing. If not right, that stuff can start cracking on its own, even without posing.
I do, too. I really want somebody at SDCC to ask them about this. I get that some concessions need to be made with a figure of this size, but even Hot Toys has had trouble with materials flaking/cracking over time and, no offense to Mondo, but they’re not Hot Toys…

I’ll be honest: normally, I shy away from the idea of remakes and 2.0s, lest a company become Hot Toys, but a part of me looks at all of the releases Mondo’s come out with since this line first started, sees stuff like the new X-Men ‘97 Wolverine remake they’re doing, and would love to see legit remakes by their new sculpting/painting teams of Batman & Catwoman. Batman because I feel like he’s always been sort of a point of contention for a lot of people and, while I know we got the Redux, I feel like he had so many appearances and accessories throughout the shows run that there’s enough there to justify a totally different release (maybe alternate torsos, for if they made a Batcycle, or if they wanted to do the bare chested sword fighting Ra’s look as an exclusive?). Plus, there’s nothing to say they couldn’t make sure any new heads were compatible with the O.G. so as to incentivize it for previous owners.

Catwoman’s another one. Their female figures have improved so much since Zelu joined the fold. I liked her enough when she came out, but that Selina head in particular was very much serving “blow-up doll” and, honestly, since, has even gone on to be surpassed by the Adventures Continue Catwoman at half the size and a fraction of the price from DC Collectibles. Of course, they seem to have kept the regular versions of those figures sort of evergreen, so, I’m not sure how likely it is they would absorb new tooling and production costs when they can just keep churning out the previous molds, but it’d definitely be interesting to see.

I’m hyped to pre-order Ivy, though. I know it’s got its detractors and, in terms of QC and the like, for good reason, but never in my wildest dreams did I think we’d see this sort of expansion of the line and I’m really excited to see how it develops.
