I'm still pretty happy with mine, but that outfit is definitely a huge pain to work with.

I was hoping they will produce an improved BB suit and cape with this:

Man I’m hoping for a BB armory too! It‘d be a dream!
The Batman beginning, ^ vintage looking armoire "armory" always struck me more as something Zorro might use in his own lair.:D

We didn't quite see one in Mask, yet something similar filled with era appropriate arsenal; different blades, throwing daggers, whip, lasso, black powder grenades, pistolas, and his costume, hat, cape, etc. would make sense in his lair.
In legend if I remember, he was exiled from his home, and I believe kept his gear dispersed in secret throughout the mission.

In the Telenovela though a main dresser/desk similarly dispersed in deferent boxes.

Yeah! I can totally picture the Begins Armory in the lair of Zorro! The similarities between Zorro and Batman are too conspicuous :lol But in all fairness, Zorro not only inspired Batman, but Superman too!

LOL a little excessive :lol

But yeah a cabinet filled with his costume, hat, cape, mask, boots, spurs, belt, scabered, and sevral archaic weapons is kind of his thing, something a little less exagerated going back to the pulps ...

...and Disney era, if making a Guy Williams one, he'd have:
Besides his sword:

Flint-lock pistola, and likely powder-bag and amo-pouch. - 6Senah2.gif
ZORRO 1957 DISNEY GUY WILLIAMS PISTOL BELT.jpg

Throwing knives - 7vtxf5.gif

Bow & arrow

Bullwhip

Lasso/Rope

black-powder grenades / smoke-bombs

Also I think he used a long gun, (looking for images)
Edit: though snaged fron an enemy, he is proficiant with it, shoots to wound and marrk.

I still really like this Zorro! It's a dream figure to have for me; and even though the quality is not up to the higher standards we're accustomed to knowing, it's still dashing and is easily in my most favorite figures ever!

I have a spare HT The Wolverine body to use for a formal attire Alejandro, and the skin tones are a near perfect match, plus it has the sculpted/painted hair on the body! Now to figure out how to go about the outfit 😁

It's a little dark , hard to tell , were you able to get him to hold the coiled up whip? If so which hand did you use?
Or is it attached to the belt somehow?

That photo did come out a bit dark. I was about to leave the room then decided to take one of Zorro by sticking the camera up in the air.

The whip is in his hand:

?
Is that the more relaxed hand? I can't get it to stay in there?
Or the griping hand? I can't get it to fit (while wound)? Maybe I'm being too delicate with it?
Or am I missing a third mano? :lol

It's the gripping hand. Just pull the thumb and fingers away from each other and slot the whip in, and it'll close up again around it.

The plastic's quite hard so it's tough on the thumbs, but warming the hand in hot water would make it very simple.

Awesome, thanks!
Managed to work it in, makes all the difference.

True, except as you indicate he doesn't have the facial hair.
And yes his hair is pretty wild when he pulls off his mask...

Not so slick as the unmasked figure sculpt.
I think they were just going for a generic unmasked look.

Which I think they captured, and works fine for me.
I actually prefer his expression in the unmasked look, over the more cocky smile of the masked version.
Wish I could switch the mask over to the more serious sculpt.

The prototype head was fantastic.

Nothing that new, though by way of the Batman 89 thread was just made aware of the prop store site, so of course did a Zorro search.
They have a few things (mostly Legend) that reveal some details, I think Blitzway did a fair job capturing.
Surprised by the rounded detail on the spurs, did they really come that way, or is this just a convenience for movie prop safety?
The bandana ends in a lot more frilly detail than I imagined.
Sword pommel, in both gold and silver? Not sure what is more screen accurate, always seemed silver?
Some extra detail on the scabbard and belt...

Alejandro's cane, actually hid a sword though I can't remember seeing it on film, it really makes sense.
My Blitzway cane is in box, but now I'm wondering if it has the secret sword!?

Never really considered having a Ferroq's (Raul Mendez) figure, but the intricacy of his weapons is fantastic!
As well as McGivens' pistols, Armand's sword, rings, and whole "Orbis Unim" theme, etc...

Let me know if these open, or if they are to large?

Still think Legend wasn't all bad, while the kid was certainly annoying (the frikin scrappy-doo effect) , the set-up and plot wasn't all that bad, Armado and his plan actually made for a good villain, and with some of the missing exposition from the deleted scene with the Pinkertons blackmail, Elena's seemingly egregious motives and situation made a bit more sense.

Hi all,

Does anyone have photos of the nude body used for this figure and or know what type of body it is?

Kind thanks

Not sure about photos, yet I do remember one of the video reviews posted a while back in this thread, did have the reviewer shockingly strip the figure. :lol
Going to have to scroll back several pages, as it was a while ago and there are several.
