I finally picked this one up, my first Asmus. I figured that this version of Aragorn is highly unlikely to be done by InArt and it's good offering as far as I could tell. Head sculpt's pretty good and acceptable (looks like Aragorn, even if perhaps not Viggo specifically).

Aside from perhaps snipping some of the ties on the jerkin, the mail is the main thing to change really. The fabric idea is pretty sound in theory but because it is a sort of 3-in-1 weave as opposed to 4-in-1 (the actual weave), it doesn't look right or hang right. It's also hung the wrong direction in the torso part and it's a bit too sparkly and shiny (vs the movie and prop).

Has anyone done a body swap for better shoulder articulation and perhaps stronger ankles?

Very interested in that display base.

It looks like it came in a separate box, was it sold seperately?

Does anyone know where it could be found or if anyone is willing to sell his/hers?

The display base came with the exclusive version and wasn't sold separately. Best chance now would be Ebay but looking at the current listings, there isn't any for sale. It's great though, definitely worth picking up when you can!

Thank you for your quick response ;-)
Ok, not separately, but no need for the figure, so hoping to find one loose if possible.
Definitely going to pick it up when found, fingers crossed.

Yes, ebay....
Prefer a member here is reading and wanting to sell.

Haha yes, finding a parted out version may be difficult. The figure itself is pretty bad apart from the vest (which I'd argue is better than InArt's as it has more accurate details...) and red shirt so other than those, the base is the only thing worth keeping.

If anyone is willing to sell or could me helping finding one, please let me know.

Really trying my luck I know, forgive me...
