It'd be hilarious if they re-released the original and it made more money than the remake.
we would watch it, out of spite. It'd be hilarious if they re-released the original and it made more money than the remake.
Frankly, I don't know that the Crow is all that interesting or distinctive in itself to warrant multiple films. Guy comes back from the dead for revenge is not the most revolutionary idea ().I don't understand why Hollywood thinks this story needs to be modernized to resonate. There's so much nostalgia for the '80s and '90s now, I'm sure a period film would've gotten more attention.
So what you're saying is ontop of the emo theme and make up, what he also needed to stand out, is a 60s-70s muscle car in black- https://www.collectorfreaks.com/threads/the-batman-june-25-2021.159954/page-316#post-10562488.... best reflect our contemporary culture writ large is Fast and the Furious. If this Crow were portrayed more as a meathead with a need for speed it may have made a profit.
make the crow a womanAbsolutely. Also, if he were able to murder people while simultaneously checking instagram and tiktok then I think mass audiences would really be able to connect.
Come to think of it, if he was a video game playing, social media influencing Swiftie who also happened to be a murderous zombie. . .they could have printed money with this thing.
And make her first name Sherylmake the crow a woman
Pennywise Crow
However, I think the original film worked for people mainly because it was a reflection of the time.
