Took some more shots of Anakin today, but spent most of my time taking pictures of Anakin and Padmé together while listening to “Across the Stars.” I’ve ran out of 1/6 time this weekend though, so I’ll have to dedicate some time to solely Anakin at a later time.

I really like this Anakin figure, and I especially like it when he looks pissed off. I messed around with the robe and hood for a little bit, but it’s not futzed to my liking yet.

Good shots! I agreed this figure turned out great.

My only complaints are his Jedi robe, and the inner ankle tilt is limited. That robe takes a lot of futzing to look good! Post some pictures once you have time. I’d love to see it properly futz.

Two things I wasn’t expecting were his tunic to be that nice soft suede material! And the body feels really nice! My joints are super smooth.

The moveable eyes add so much to his expression. Anakin and Padmé are top shelf!
 
First time this has ever happened to me.. What’s the best way of fixing it? I know, I’m being lazy and I’m sure the information is out there..

Damn! Those can be a pain to get out. Had that same thing happen to my Darth Maul.

Just heat it up. I used boiling water since I needed to get it pretty soft. Then I just used a thin tweezers and “scooped” it around the peg. It popped right out. I then reheated the hand and ran cold water over it.
 
The robe, Idk. Even when futzed, I still hate it. It's the design of it that just looks absolutely ridiculous to me. Worst robe design in all of Star Wars.

I may use the SS Clone Wars Anakin robe for it.

I'm currently unboxing mine now. I don't think I will take the robe out of the bag. Also no interest in hooking up the lightsabers.
 
I'm a "set it and forget it" kind of guy. I like to find the one pose and pretty much never touch the figure again. It's a wonder why I don't collect statues. Thats said, I'm finding it tough to find a suitable pose for Anakin. Spent a few hours but nothing so far. I think it is a great looking figure and would recommend. Many of the accessories I don't think I will use in my display (robe, mechanical hand, lighting effects). Spending a few hours with it, I don't think that the figure is worth $400 Canadian. Which may solidify me not pre-ordering Inart Legolas with will cost $755 Canadian + and customs charges that will incur. I guess at the end of the day I can hold my chin up high and say that Legolas was just too damn expensive for me to justify buying. Anyways going to go back and play with my Anakin. I need to get my playtime in!!! ;) (y)
 
^^^ Wow, what great photos!! When I posted my photos, I remarked that my pictures did not convey the detail of the face and skin, yours definitely show it! This is my first Hot Toys figure and I think I finally pulled the trigger on a figure that IMO is probably their best head sculpt ever. Can’t wait to get my Artisan Anakin, if it turns out as good as this guy it is going to be over the top.
 
I haven’t found my pose yet however I did decide to switch bases with AOTC C3P0 (which I feel is part of the best of the best). I think switching the bases suits the characters better. Thoughts?
