I have the Jaxon cape and it drapes wonderfully. My only issue with it is that it does limit display options. It is too light to be pulled back and stay back easily and doesn't work well if you drap it over a shoulder to have an arm sticking out with the grapple gun or other accessories.

It is a bit of a one style option only cape.

I still don't know what a good cape option would be for this or 89.

Jaxon's looks good in promotional photographs, but looks like **** in just about every picture I've seen shared by a collector.

Tony's is heavily textured for my liking, but it's also sold out, so it's not even an option.

Unreal only seems to offer a wired option, which looks a little chunky.

And Buidon's cape is completely inaccurate.
Any photos of the last mentioned? Never heard of it before

Hopefully like others have mentioned this is just a stand in and the final product will surprise us in a good way unlike the 89 2.0 disappointments people have compared to the proto.

But then again that Begins 3.0 is still out there so who knows:huh

I think we can safely say it still won't touch the Unreal though when it should. They should have the digital files.

If we look closer at the Returns 2.0 proto, it seems that they already over textured the cowl.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ll mess this one too…

Agreed - I have no faith in HT delivering an actually improved Returns figure with this 2.0

Having just cancelled my 89 2.0 today that was ready to ship from Popcultcha, I am super glad I have the original release of the BR figure. No need to go through the anxiety of the next 12 months waiting to see what they put out.

Yeah I was thinking about picking up the HT 2.0 and still might just to do a suit mod so that portion is accurate, but will definitely be getting his cowl for Returns. From recent photos it still doesn't look like HT have removed the hatch on the back of the head.
There was a video or photo (can't remember) of the Bat Missile and the figure posed next to it did not seem to have the PERS hatch.

Yes, i'll gladly keep going with my V1...
I'm not feeling that v2...

But that unreal sculpt is something else...
By curiosity, anyone knows how much does it cost?

if

if this is the one you're talking about it still does unfortunately @ 6:33
Yeah I see it there but it wasn't the one. Maybe the other one was the same display but the resolution was too low to show the hatch. While I could be wrong I still think they'll lose it -- they did on '89.

Cowl aside which release do you guys think is better the 1.0 or 2.0? Has the body been changed at all? I cant tell from the pics
I’d say 2.0 if you dont have a Returns figure already.

For regular release the 2.0 has the benefit of body being new so you have some extra longevity in the joints. Cape is “better” out of the box. Also the wingsuit is new.

For deluxe the new Bruce Wayne head is miles better than the original attempt imo and a new base plus all of the above.

If you have 1.0 Id just keep that and then if you want anything in particular from the new release you are probably better off getting the specific parts/pieces from Toy Anxiety when they part it out.

That's my plan basically. I just want that 2.0 BW head.

Is Unreal taking orders for that Returns head yet, or is it still early on?

If enough people order from Unreal, can that cut the cost down? I think this forum has facilitated things like that before, right?

it's not final yet but probably similar to his 89 which was $330
Thanks ....
But yikes! That's even more than i thought...
i imagine you must add shipping + taxes and custom fees....
I was hoping for something more in the prices of Jaxon's Begins cowl, but that's way,way more..

I think my Hot Toys Returns cowl is already looking better...:)
All it takes is for me to stop looking at Unreal's Cowl..

Yeah not inexpensive lol. Jaxon has the benefit of an overall larger production and partnerships. Unreal is pretty much a one man shop and made to order.
