Hot Toys said somewhere they did add another 200 for Joker and 100 for Anakin when the figures were announced due to crazy demand for those two artisan figures, do not think they have done it for any of the other limited ones.

As I recall same week they were announced or when they went up for preorder.

From what I recall, it wasn't an actual official announcement from HT. Someone asked an employee of Secret Base if there would be more and the employee assumed there would be b/c 1) HT didn't realize the demand of Joker and Anakin and 2) these aren't actual numbered editions so they could technically make as many as they wanted and no one would be the wiser. Officially speaking, the artisan Joker is still limited to 4,000 pieces

At this point, I’ll just settle with the current 1.0. If a IA Jokor 2.0 happens, then I’d upgrade.

I much prefer the HT coat color and the lapels. I also like the HT tie. I’d like to have a “perfect” TDK Joker but it just seems so overwhelming to outsource all these parts, make sure they fit and everything. I know custom work isn’t allowed here so I’ll shut my mouth now.

Is there a tutorial on how to convert the eyes? They eyes annoy me so much because I can tell they are not perfectly aligned.

I think the open mouth with teeth especially is what puts this Joker sculpt above the other artisan sculpts so far, it gives it a 3D effect and lifelike effect in hand that especially with the rooted hair makes it their best sculpt yet.

Seeing work like that really makes me wish HT would start upping their paint work on their figures more. Especially given the rising cost of these figures.

Love this release and after having in hand for a minute. I'm betting we get a dx11 2.0 jailcell release in future. Hot toys has got the suit to perfection. All they need to do is up production numbers on next release along w dx19 2.0 would be perfect now ironed out bale bats hands and cowl even more. My hopes we see a couple more amazing releases by next comic con. I can only see more amazing jokers waiting to be released in future...

This is why I don’t really consider Artisan Joker a true Hot Toys figure.

Well… they bought a better sculpt than JND or InArt were able to produce themselves.
It’s still not an in-house sculpt so I’m not giving them much credit for it beyond the quality of the eyes and teeth.

I view it like an advanced third party offering where they just tweaked something that was already on the market. At least they paid for it.

HT is 500 bucks though. Not even JND's $1700 package can reach that custom level. Yall expecting A LOT for $500.
