LIMTOYS - Nathan 1/6 scale collectible figure (Uncharted 4)

I was playing a little bit this afternoon with Nate and I noticed something... the ring that comes with the SS figure fits on the cipher disk! (I tried it without the thread and it fit perfectly, although I preferred to leave it on to make it look like Nate was putting it on).

I know it's a coincidence, but I wanted to share it with you, guys

Sorry mate, I don't know if I understood you correctly...

Just out of interest, which body sculpt are you using for your SS UC3? Loving mine with the new Limtoys head sculpt, but would love to find a seamless arm body to use!

I used Lim's body (I was able to buy a second figure at OSK this month).

The clothes fit well (the shirt has the same problem as Lim's, at the limit of length).
The pegs on the boots need to be modified to make them a bit bigger.
The belt I had to make a new leather one because the original one was quite deteriorated (but you can use the original without problems).
The rest I haven't touched anything.

Maybe it's because it's mine, but I like the final result.

Yeah, even just a head sculpt change has worked for me, and luckily all my equipment is as-new. Limtoys did great work with UC4 Nate!

Totally agree! Just by changing the headsculpt, the SS Nate becomes a fabulous figure.

I had the UC3 figure just like you, but in the end I couldn't resist buying another one to make the change.

The headsculpts, the body, the accessories... the Limtoys figure is at another level

Oh wow $276. Never thought we got to that price for a 3rd party figures. Well with OSK you get “free” shipping and it arrived quicker. I’m lucky I can get it a lot cheaper with local retailer, not as fast, but I’m okay with waiting. In fact I’m still waiting for my Nathan Drake, seeing all of you post yours with envy lol.

Looking at this, is it really only me thinking Nate Lim body is too slim on the waist? With that height ratio, it needs to be wider. With it wearing the outfit from Sideshow, it’s quite apparent. Sideshow got that proportions right. A lot of people disagree with me back then regarding Nate body, since the Lim prototype shown, I felt gaslighted lol. Orrrr is it really really only me

I agree - the Sideshow dimensions and proportions were bang on. The head sculpt and colour, reflected in the arms, is a different matter. But SS body with Lim head - perfection. However, the UC4 also works so, so well - you’ll be delighted when you get it!

I think Lim based the body on the actual game model. I highly doubt it’s inaccurate.

I can’t agree with this unfortunately. The neck and torso on Lim body is too jacked. The torso I think is based on their Arthur body. If not the same, it’s modified based on that shape. I think RRX lined up the game model and Lim figure some pages back, in that I can still see the waist is too slim. So I can’t agree with that. The clothing gives a lot of factors too. Considering we don’t have the in game topless model to base it from. Looking at the neck and pecs alone, my take is Lim made an idealized body of Nate.

The neck and chest are the only parts of Nate’s torso that exist on the model. LIM would have had to use artistic license on the rest of his body based on how the clothes looked, and his visible forearms.

I’m thinking really hard about preordering the second run.
