I'm not saying I HATE the backstories, I just think it's overused and a convenient device to stretch out the series. The flashes happen in EVERY episode, so they're telling TWO episodes at once instead of ONE episode *just* about the main story. But what if when it's all said and done it...

The FBI didn't need Mulder back. The filmmakers need Mulder back in the FBI so they could tell a new story. If the government was so gung-ho to put Mulder on trial and sentence him to death, then why do they not care less now? It makes no sense. The thing is, the super die-hard X-Files fans...

Are you serious? The character plots aren't that deep or complex, that's typical TV drama stuff. It's told out of order . . . is THAT the big brain-challenging aspect? The "bigger" plot is the only thing that might be somewhat challenging to follow, but only if they didn't stretch 1 episode's...

I think those Hasbro Stooges are quite good in person. Not that another company couldn't make better versions now, but overall they are great for Stooges fans. Would love to see most of the suggestions in this thread, from Marx Brothers and Buster Keaton to Laurel and Hardy and Chaplin, etc...

So I've started buying most of the clothes based on recommendations throughout this thread, but I need some advice on the body. I've bought some Sideshow 12" figures in the past, but never customized a 12" figure. I've heard that the Hot Toys body is the best way to go, but searching around...

Wow this is a huge thread! No time to read through it now. :o Overall I enjoy this series, though I feel the storytelling is much too drawn out--for ratings, presumably. I don't like the indiscriminate killing-off of characters, and my favorite Season was probably the 2nd one.

I thought it was pretty bad. But I didn't like the end of the series and how they hooked Mulder and Scully up together. Kind of killed the interesting dynamic of their relationship for me. Plus, there were no interesting characters introduced, and almost no familiar faces.
