    SSE 1:1 Ardeth

:monkey2 Got officially closed out of the Ardeth Bay waitlist yesterday! Bummer, as I was thinking of turning him into a full sized figure for a home theater dispaly. I'll just take that as a sign that something much cooler must be coming! Just an observation, but I think the reason the SSE...

    spidey 1:1 bust

Proportions look much better in the picture with Venom. Displayed that way they make a nice McFarland inspired set.

    spidey 1:1 bust

I'd have to agree with the head shape being off - too squat indeed. I understand the look they are going for, but I think they missed the mark. Not too impressed with this one. I like the Alex Ross rendition much better as it translates to the 3rd dimensional treatment.

    HULK PF PIC!!!

While I don't curreently collect any of the Sideshow Marvel stuff I will have to say that is a really nice rendition of the "Classic" Hulk. I wish they would have used that approach in the movie. I used to love the almost Frankenstein look that Kirby gave him in those early issues and I think...

    Premium Format Mummy

Wow, I don't know what to say. I was really looking forward to this piece. Love the concept, display options, the scale, the overall design... but I have to agree with others that have posted here - I was shocked that it didn't throw me for a loop. Of all the things this piece has...

    Next 1:1 Monster Bust

1:1 scale Karloff's Monster, The Phantom, Creature, Bela and even the Werewolf of London have all been tackled before by various artists - although given the Ardeth Bey bust Sideshow versions would always be welcomed. I'm sure that the Creature is in the works given his constant popularity as a...

UNIVERSAL MONSTERS...WHO COLLECTS THEM ON THIS BOARD?

Great pics of the collection Anton! I too collect Universal Monsters and stated with the smaller Sideshow line. With their environmental styled bases they quickly brought to mind the classic Aurora kits from my youth. I took the plunge into the 12 inch figures as well, but I've chosen to pass...

    JAWS

Very excited about this piece - especially with the new base. Happed to see JAWS on the big screen again a couple of weeks ago at a local theater, and now I've even got the wife geeked for Bruce to arrive! :D

    Boba Fett...

I'll have to agrre with what other have already stated, it was the mystery that made Boba interesting. Well at least to me as a kid. A man of few words, cool armor (all those design drawings in the ESB sketchbook!), and he had Vader's respect. His throwaway appearance in Jedi was a waste...

    King Kong Armature

I'm not planing on animating anything with it, but I would indeed like to change it's pose every once in a while. Have we heard anything on what type of metal it will be made of? I know that Sideshow needs to keep the cost of materials reasonable to make it an affordable collectible - but I...

    Indiana Jones PF line

OK, if we're gonna do this, let's do it right! For my PF Indy figure, I want it doe up in the "Raiders Style" hunched over the column of the Golden Idol with the bag of sand in his hand. Though I know most will want him cracking the whip.

    Sideshow, how about these?

Ironman those are great!!! :google I'd but each and every one. But I'd have to have a Klytus from Flash Gordon as well!

Majestic's 1/6 Abominable Dr. Phibes is exquisite.

Wow, those pics look great! I'm off the fence on this one! Now I just need to score a minature antique phonograph player! Thanks for the pics Doc!

    NEW LICENCE IS........JAWS

Yep, I remember that one as well in some of the modeling mags. Was it possibly carried by Monsters In Motion at one time?

Here is the picture from last years wondefest of the J]aws model I was talking about... [/IMG

    NEW LICENCE IS........JAWS

Wow, what exciting and depressing news all at the same time! No figures? What the hell?!?! This film is a classic piece of American Cinema with easily recognizable characters! I thought we would at least get: ~ Quint ~ Brody (Sherrifs outfit) ~ Brody (Orca outfit) ~ Hooper...
