Rick Deckard This is the Brothers Production headsculpt for their Blade Runner figure. I've been modifying the whole piece, but the biggest part of it was the head repaint. It's a good sculpt; not an exact likeness of Harrison Ford, but close enough. On the body with the rest of his gear...

    Phantom11 Customs

Well, wax, I'm just using this thread to show face repaints. Sort of a way to gather the ones that involve the most work in one place. :) And to that end, see the post below....

    Phantom11 Customs

Hey, thanks, my friend! I appreciate the compliment on the repaint. I'm totally happy with the skin tone, but the eyes just look dead to me, and his eyebrows too "painted on" (maybe because they are! HAH!) Got some alternative methods I'll be trying, and hopefully more repaints to show soon...

Rondo Hatton repaint EDIT: It's funny how often I don't see what I don't like about a figure until AFTER I've photographed it and looked at the pics. Such is the case with the Rondo repaint. I HATE the eyes and eyebrows. Will be re-doing them tonight, hopefully new pics shortly after...

Finally getting some time to post more of my work, and have a lot of SST re-paints, as well as other manufacturers to share with ya'll. This one is SST's British Lewis Gunner. The hair hasn't been finished yet, but everything else is just about done.

    Lara Croft: Tomb Raider

So, I always felt that the sculpt on the SST Lara Croft was really quite good; a great likeness to the game character. I just felt it needed to be pushed a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit further. I also liked the basic clothing and gear provided, but again, thought there were a few points that...

Alert: Sideshow more recasts on ebay.

I could. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut...... From DM's tone in his post, I don't think he would. :) And what if he didn't know his work was being copied? Wouldn't it be nice to have a fan base with ooooh, I don't know, maybe a forum of some kind where the information could be exchanged about...

Alert: Sideshow more recasts on ebay.

Soooo.... BadMoon: I take it that if you produced something that was copied and made money for someone else, you'd be okay with that? Awesome! So, what can you make? I'd love to copy it and sell it so I can make some cash without having to pay you a cent. It obviously wouldn't hurt you in...

    The JOKER!!

Heh, heh... just doin' my part to help keep Sideshow solvent! Personally, the more I look at that Rickenbacker sculpt, the more I think that the sculptor had the Joker in mind all along. I mean, look at the guy's nose, even; it's got the perfect shape. Either way, it suited my needs to a "T"...

    The JOKER!!

Don't know what to do with the psychotic looking Sideshow Toy Eddie Rickenbacker figure you have laying around? Turn him into the Clown Prince of Crime!!! Check it... Base headsculpt is Eddie Rickenbacker with resculpted brows and sculpted lower teeth, sculpted hair...

    Frankenstein the Revenant

Thanks for the answer, shaithis77; I'm not surprised that production costs would be high on a figure of this quality. Particularly with the unique sculpts of his forearms and torso, not to mention the incredibly well detailed outfit and accessories. I will say that I think it's an...

    Frankenstein the Revenant

Looks like there's still quite a bit of interest in this figure and the proposed line. So, how about it, Sideshow? I'd buy one of these guys in a heartbeat.

    Frankenstein the Revenant

So back in 2002 at the San Diego Comic Con, the Sideshow Original Design Series was introduced, and the first figure that was to be produced was this: Frankenstein the Revenant. Whatever happened to what looked to be an ultra cool line of re-interpretations of classic monsters? Thanks.
