Yay, early arrival from him here in Switzerland and Germany. I‘ll get mine next week, many collector friends in Germany got him last week

Wow I am also in Germany and got him what seems like months ago. You should really check out Asian suppliers. Unless of course you're supporting local shops which is admirable, and something I do as well from time to time.

Yeah BBTS is hit and miss. For some releases they give you a 10 day notice, and some they give you no notice at all. Shoot sometimes they will tell you it'll be there in 10 days, then you'll get charged a day later....

Yeah I didn't get a notice at all for Obi-Wan last week. But then maybe they just wanted to hurry up and charge me before I had a chance to cancel beforehand.

This figure is amazing. It looks so striking on my shelf.

My only issue is one that started to really come to the fore when I got this figure -- MCU's colour palette is really starting to bore me. Red and blue, red, red and gold, red and black, black, blue, gray ... besides Hulk these superheroes are really starting to blur together. One of the reasons I see Wasp's drab colour scheme a missed opportunity to throw in some saturated yellow.

I wouldn’t really call it just the MCU color palette. Cap, Cap Marvel, Spidey....always lots of blue, red. Dr Strange, always a red cloak, blue outfit (newest comic version is a black outfit with red cloak) Widow always black outfit.
I’d prefer this than the early 2000’s all black X-Men suits from their movies. Seems like once you get into the mutants that’s we’re the other colors come in, but even still Cyclops, a lot of blue. Fantastic 4, all blue.

Yeah, no doubt it has something to do with the limitations of colour printing back in the day, but it still gets a little boring.

Yeah, upon reflection you're correct. So my gripe with MCU is I'm looking for that pop of yellow.

I think a good group would be Hulk, Mark VI, Black & Red Spidey (FFH), EG Black Widow, Dr. Strange. You could throw Black Panther in there too.

The Mark VI has enough gold on it to help break up the red and contrast nicely against Hulk. The FFH Spidey allows for the Dr. Strange Red & Blue.

I have Avengers Loki and always thought he look great with Thanos -- green against purple, both helmeted.

I'm still torn about my shelf. I just can't get all the Avengers and was leaning toward just Iron Man, Cap and Thor... but then I really like Dr. Strange as a figure.

I also have the original Ant-Man... yet another red guy.

True, but I'd never buy a Thanos. Terrific villain and fun to watch on screen, but to be honest I don't like his look, just not to my taste. Although if I had to choose one, it'd be armoured.

My problem with Thanos is the same as with Hulk... both seem more like toys than high-end action figures. Not enough tailored clothing, etc. Just big rubbery arms and screaming faces.

Avengers Hulk has an amazing head sculpt. Body is more “toy” - like ... but he’s basically a backdrop for my other Marvel figures and does the job really, really well. Great complementary piece, although you’re not wrong.

I have no Black Widow either but it does seem like the EG Widow has the most lifelike proportions yet.
