Nope, if you want to make a fantasy B pillar out of the back of the car sure. But you would be wrong. They are two different models.

Regular merchandise reflects this discrepancy also, both are the same scale.

It’s no fantasy pillar mind you, the batmissile transformation makes no sense but it was always made out to be longer than the actual Batmobile because it became thinner when it squeezed through the unrealistic alleyway and Had to fit 8 wheels under the same chassis

I thought the Bat Missile was cool when I was a kid. I’d rather have the full on Batmobile, which I don’t have a version of (Hot Toys or Jazzinc).

Wondering now if this signals that Hot Toys may make more from Batman Returns now that they have competition.

I had all the model kits on my dresser back in 1992 -- Batmobile, Batwing, Batmissile, Batboat

Brings back memories of all the Bat-madness.

The wheel slide feature is very fun but I wonder if Hot Toys understood that conceptually it is the 4 wheels of the Batmobile in-line, and not 4 wheels on each side; if a wheel is slid out on one side, it should be absent on the other. My suspicion is this thing is rocking 8 separate wheels.

Looks like some nice weathering paintwork on the canopy etc. or maybe that’s just oil from fingers

Apparently rumor is there are leaks that Catwoman and Penguin are being made and will be announced soon. How much of it is true will remain to be seen.

I hope so because JazzInc wants Batmissile money for one Catwoman.

Based on this rear view it sure looks like there are two wheels side-by-side in the back lol.

It’s neat to read about how movies were made with props and models prior to all the FX nowadays. Here’s the lineage model from the 92 movie. The model had 8 wheels, bet this is where HT was getting design guidance from for the car.
