I hope they do good stuff with this, wonder who they would cast as Bond?
Henry Cavill is probably still available.....

With all that said, I will NEVER forgive Amazon for what they did to Tolkien in Rings of Power!
I can look past them being an evil megalithic corporation destined to swallow us all - but that writing put war crimes to shame.
they will probably cast an actress, maybe Tessa Thompson

I'm now thinking of it like this.

Bond up to No Time To Die is like the original Star Wars trilogy and prequels.

Whatever Amazon makes is everything Disney has made since The Force Awakens. We might get one Andor, one Rogue One, one Solo but the rest will be terrible.

I love Bond so much so I'll give it a chance. But the general consensus I've seen everywhere today is that this is truly terrible news.

I did really enjoy Bosch, though. Need to catch up with that one. And the Tick was great. Unfortunate that it never found its footing.

I thought Amazon might be a good opportunity for a Bond limited series.
7 episodes, 7 agents, 1 mission. So each episode would focus on a different 00 agent (or double agent) and their aspect of the mission, allowing for some crossover so you don't have to wait until ep 7 to see Bond.

I would be interested if they made a series focusing on each book. 10 episodes, starting with Casino Royale. But that will run out.

A series focusing on Bond's youth, showing his parents dying and going to Eton, the Navy and ends with him joining the Secret Service. There are a lot of roads to be taken, but I doubt they'll be explored with high quality.

The general majority will be right in the end.

I don’t expect them be able to write one compelling lead character and you want seven!

But, just imagine how many boxes they could tick with seven 00s…
