well the one i saw definately wasn't the same shade of red that is used on the hot toys. it was more of a darker maroon red, and definately not a shinny as the previous ss pieces.

still looked killer though imo

edit: i just went to ss site to see how close the color was in the pics compared to the prototype i saw at the lcs, and i didn't realize that the es on this one was at 1500:horror:horror holy sht, i can see this one offered for sc for sometime. especially since the movie hype is all but gone.

oh yeah the color looks damn close to me.

Has anyone signed up for the waitlist flexpay and had it convert yet? I decided to try and if it works then cancel my regular one.

I still can't wait to see these displayed in various collections. It looks like this one may steal the show in anyone's collection.

I haven't been on the site for sometime and I see that they issued an edition size of 1500. But in the "Important Product Information" it says that the bust will not be HAND numbered. My question now is, will it be numbered at all?

Thats my biggest issue right now. I seem to be remodeling my display around this awesome peice... and lets just face it, some SS peices will look like caca next to it.

For what I understand, it will not be numbered at all. But it will be limited to 1500. So if you have run #3 or #1300, you'll never know. Now, why it would be limited to 1500 and not numbered, I have no idea. (I guess similar to the reasoning they had with the RHOD, but I never heard the reasoning behind that one either.)

They won't show that it's out of 1,500 either.

And that's the other thing I had trouble coping with. But I guess I'll just have to wait and see how they handle the matter. (I'm very interested though.) Based on the price tag, you would think they would include something to help distinguish it each piece, in terms of a stamp, etc.

Have they said they won't show the 1500 edition size? When Master Replicas tried this they simply put "Edition size of 1500" instead of an actually numbering them. I would think SSC would do the same thing on the bottom.

Honestly, I don't think these were selling as well as they hoped. It was being offered on gift card for a while when the IM DVD came out.

They probably saw that a $700 collectible needed to have an edition size nowadays as people are more cautious on purchases. Same reason why they now tell you how many items are sitting on a wait list waiting to be converted. In the old days, they would not tell you that.

Yep!!!! :D I'd just really hate to have this shipped to me at school.......

But if you going to be in Cali, change your address with Sideshow before it ships. (Shipping costs would probably be a little cheaper to.)

Or is it because of the space issue? (I think you mentioned about keeping some of your PFs in the Sunshine State.)
