Sweet As! Will buy one later as currently too many pre-orders on FlexPay
I so agree dude
I gotta wait till maybe august or September
Oh but the downside with the custom color is that it takes about 5 months to build.

I know right
I guess they have to match the color and that takes awhile I guess to search for the exact color to your choice.
You can customize the exterior color and interior too as well as number plates too I think. Coz I'm doing a custom plate too.
Contact amalgam or your amalgam official distributor to confirm.
If you live in the US, Sunrich hobbies and carville models are the ones to contact.
I remember seeing the advert for that hoping it was 1/6th! If it was i'd have been all over it. I remember working out the total price too,Im building James Bonds Aston Martin DB5 from "Goldfinger" in 1/8 scale with all the gadgets,working lights etc. from an English partwork magazine over 85 weeks.It s due to finish in August 2012.Ca nt wait!!
It sounds very interesting no doubt but 5 months.... Wow must be really worth it. Sorry mate I live in NZ. Will mostly have to purchase from amalgam website.
When i want to go from lets say a enzo 1/12 kyosho that is selling for like $400 to a 1/8 scale collectible is there any other option than a $6000 Amalgam ??
Is that the new Hot Wheels/Mattel Elite Ecto 1?
That's a great line up Balsquat - I like how you've given a whole shelf to each vehicle. I'm starting to build a 1/18 collection of TV/movie vehicles too. So far I've got the '60s Batmobile, The Ecto1 and Mr Frye's Ferrari from Ferris Bueller's Day off. The ones I'm wanting to add are:
* BTTF 1 DeLorean
* Mad Max Interceptor
* Blues Brothers Bluesmobile
...I'm also thinking about Starsky and Hutch's Gran Torino, Bond's DB5 from Goldfinger and Kit from Knight Rider when it's released. If only I could get hold of a screen accurate Ford Capri from the old English TV series 'The Professionals'... and M Bean's mini would be cool too.
I actually own the Interceptor as well and let me tell you the quality is amazing.
The Ecto 1 is huge when compared to the others and really does command a shelf all to its own. A DB-5 would be pretty sweet.
My Ecto 1 is sitting in my pile of loot at BBTS. It looks great on the shelf in your pics, I can't wait to push the 'ship now' button .
press it!! press it now!!!!
Here is my complete 1:18 scale collection
