I wonder if Kato is gonna tailor everything all by himself or send it to some factory in China to do it?

I hope it doesn't suffer in terms of quality like the DX11.

This is really a stupid decision making this 1/2 scale.
It should have been 1/4.
Even though retail for ht and Eb 1/4 is under $500, many people would still shell out $1k for an Adam and kato 1/4 scale.
But for 1/2 scale which takes up 3 shelves on a detolf, and for at least $2k, they've priced out a lot of collectors.
Even if the price is somehow the same as sideshow's legendary scale which is $2k (which Im certain this will still be higher), that is too much for 1 figure for most people.
And with 1/4, many people can pair it with their ht or Eb batman.

I wish it was 1/3 or 1/4 myself but it's been confirmed that the license for it has been eaten up by other companies already.

Due Licensing restriction we are only can produce 1/3 or 1/2 scale.

Thanks. That bites.
I love HT, when they nail it, they produce mindblowing masterpieces for a mass produced products.
But when they miss, they can miss badly.
All their jokers have been underwhelming, so I can't get excited if they decide to do a 1/4 joker.
They will certainly not be able to top this prime1 joker.

Congrats to those who can acquire this grail piece.

The EB is a figure which most statue collectors don't want, so for a lot of us there is no 1/4 Ledger joker out there yet.

It should of been 1/3!!!!!!!! There's a ton of quality 1/3 statues, and only 1 or 2 good 1/2s. 1/2 is too big. I may still get it cause it prolly won't be beaten, but I hate that scale.

They couldn't do 1/3 scale as well. Sucks that they were pretty much forced to do 1/2 scale for this line. Would have loved if they had secured 1/4 or 1/3 since they also plan on doing Bale and other characters. They would nailed them all.

For Dark knight trilogy we are only allow do 1/2 scale.
We challenge ourself with this restriction to create something different in market.

Hope fan will love it. From what I see so far will be amazing.

You know what the ironic thing is? They are only allowed to do the Dark Knight trilogy in 1/2 scale but I think the rest of their lisences can be done in any other scale pretty much. I mean go figure.

Very frustrating. Though I'm not as concerned about scale as I used to be, I tend to go for smaller scale nowadays. Owning huge statues has lost it's novelty on me somewhat. They take up too much space and cost too much.

Totally agree, I would love to own this thing but the large scale really bothers me, 1/3 scale is usually the highest I will go, past that point they look more little mannequins IMO. Not saying that is a bad thing but I like to display my collectables on the shelf not on the ground. Also getting a display case custom made for this will cost a fortune!

The case is at least one aspect I have covered. This will easily fit in my Ikea Pax. I'd just have to raise a shelf and put him on the bottom. The cool thing is I've recently started making half and quarter depth shelves so I can put something tall in the front like this guy, then shorter pieces behind in. Nonetheless, the higher I raise a shelf, the less space I have on the shelf above it (obviously ).

I do. With lighting and acrylic panels and door frames, yes they were expensive...but...I can't fit virtually anything in them. They can be configured any way you want with the shelves being set at any position you want. Thanks man! I will be soon. I have a few custom horror 1/6 figs coming this week, then I'll take some new full collection pics. The collection has been moved to a less photogenic location in the house. I'll have to move the dining room table to get full cabinet pics. Fun chatting with you DA. Back to the topic before the Mods b*** slap us lol.

I will be eagerly awaiting a full reveal on this Joker, been needing one in my collection. Dark Knight is one of my favorite films of all time.

I assume most collectors would only consider 1/2 scale for their favorite characters, which works out well for this series, cause there's a lot of love for Nolan's designs.

Kira said they plan on doing busts for the line as well. Not sure if Kira meant for Joker but we might see it just like their Transformers line.

Be easier to get rather than having the entire 1/2 scale statue.
