Love the sculpt.. hate the pose..
My money is going towards the Dog Alien maquette from P1/CP & Alien Queen maquette from MS.

Pose is not my fav... My bigger issue is I want an BC Alien with a dome that is no translucent like in the film... Oh I would love that.


This does look amazing accuracy wise.

Anyone else hoping it gets a more imaginative base? I totally understand the choice of pose (part of me was expecting it), but it'd be nice to have a cooler base to match that of the Dog Alien.

Me not Blade. I think they are different things: while the dog tries to replicate the movie, the big chap tries to replicate the prop. Both do it perfectly but if you take them as what they are.
However I totally understand you too! I would like to have a bigchap from the movie too but half movie half prop...would look weird to me

You digging the black square base, though? Edited my original post for clarity, but my main gripe is the simplicity of the base. No problem with the pose at all.

I like the plain base. Its all about the sculpt and the base lets all the attention go to the statue. The dog looks better on the environment base because to me its a sculpt in motion as oppose to the static nature of this.

I do wonder if the case will be included. As others have said, it would be highly impractical. But it does complete the concept, in a sense.

Either way, the statue is beautiful. I just hope the QC is as solid as it would be on a Prime 1 piece. And that the price isn't any higher.

I asked to coolprops about the case. It seems japanese customers want it. They asked me my opinion also. I told them that if it doesn't increase a lot the prize ok, and if not they can offer it as an exclusive edition. Like this people could choose between one version with or without case.
I send today another mail asking for the PO...I really want to stop looking at forums, twitter, facebook for any news about it. I better would to go to the beach instead!lol

I do like the case, but it will be taking up even more space with it... Also, something tells me it will increase price by quite a lot. I do hope its optional, if they do sell it.

Museum base with a museum pose. Makes sense. The case should be optional, no doubt this is going to cost too much already.
