I am HYPED! Does it look like they changed much? Nope. Is it gonna cost me $1500+ on the secondary market for a friggin’ empty cowl? NOT TODAY, SATAN!

Dig the base, never saw the original 1/4 scale. Wish the base was in 1/6. With all of these bale figures, i really have to wonder if they're planning on doing like a... 3.0 for Ledger Joker in 1/6 down the line.

Literally the same figure with different base and missing accessories.

Even the EX is the same.

I'm so glad HT can just release nearly decade old figure for modern prices! /s **** these lazy "reissues".

Pretty much a reissue with no improvements

Agreed, yeah it appears to be the same overall figure with a bit improved cape. Looking at these promo pics, it looks like the same paint as before for the BW head sculpt and mouth plates. I'd be apt if they updated the paint in keeping with their progressing figures, but alas. I do say, I think the sculpts as well as the figure itself still hold up with current figs, in my opinion.

Worth getting for the base and bust but so disappointing they didn't just fix the cowl. How hard would it be to shorten the neck piece slightly and make the cowl a touch wider.

You can only really display the cowl with him looking down. Anything else and he looks really giraffe necked.

There’s nothing wrong with the neck if you futz with the chest armor and get everything sitting right it looks perfect.

I’ve done photo analysis of the cowl proportions. It’s really not too narrow. From certain angles the lines of the cowl are a bit off from the film but I’ve also found the real cowl is a bit asymetrical. I view this cowl as a sort of idealized symmetrical recreation and it works just fine for me as that.

As for the paint apps on this… my theory is that what we are seeing here is not a new prototype of any sort but actually a legit QS001 they are using as a prototype. It makes more sense that they would use an existing figure as the prototype, drum up support for the release, then start a new production run. I think that makes it unlikely anything sculpted will change but I think anything can still happen with the fabrics and paint apps. Seems unlikely they could recreate the original paint apps this faithfully so it seems simpler that this is just a Qs001. This won’t hit until 2023 so we’ll see what can still change.

$600? Lol! **** no! I mean, I wasn't really interested to begin with.

I love how anytime Hot Toys announces anything some people have to balk at it and make sure everyone knows THEY don’t feel catered to.

I love how you people eat up an 8 year old figure being sold for higher prices. This is why HT doesn't have to improve.
It’s an 8 year old figure that a lot of people who got into collecting over the last few years want a chance to get. It includes new accessories and is roughly the same cost of the original when inflation is accounted for.

Some people are just determined to be negative and I fail to see the value in comments like “I already didn’t want this but now that I know the price I don’t want it harder”.
