Do you think Obi-Wan would have benefitted from using a short body, similar to Luke's, so that he would be more to scale with Anakin?

By the way, My Obi-Wan shipped yesterday and is scheduled to arrive on Monday.

Finally opened up my obi-wan last night and I gotta say... the sculpt is definitely better in person! It's not exact but I think it's as close as it can get without using a scan (i wish they could use scans). But if we never saw gentle giant's anything, we would all agree that this is the best ewan mcgregor toy likeness ever... and possibly still is since GG statues aren't toys.

My only real gripe I think is with obi-wan's tunic. It's a lighter and thinner fabric than the other Jedi figures and I find it baffling somewhat. It looks really wrinkly or shriveled...just an odd look. Windu, qui-gon, and fisto all have thicker fabric tunics and I think it looks better in comparison.

VERY cool, Coheteboy...a special thanks for the "hero" pose. I also really like the duel pose (Anakin on his back, Kenobi over him)
On the tunic...it may be thin, but it photographs okay...he looks great...hurry up friday!

I just got Obi Wan like 10 minutes ago and I have to say he is awesome!!! The grey is very subtle in person... I actually had to hold him under a naked bulb to see the brush lines that are so apparent in the posted photos. I will agree the tunic material is a bit thinner than it should be, its kinda sheer... but aside from that very small nit this figure is bad-Ass!!!

I'd prefer if we didn't have "subliminal" messages in photos. All the forums get lifted from - I think there is more cross posting of RS stuff here than vice versa. If you want credit, or better yet, want the board to get credit - just water mark it with your name @sideshowcollectors.com.
