For me its not so much that I'm unhappy with the paint job as I wish the hair weren't so dark, I think it tends to draw away from the sculpt. But on that same token alot of the pictures posted on here don't seem as dark as the one on sideshow's site so that has lessened my disappointment quite a bit.

Well, it's like DL said from the start before everyone gets all worked up we needed to wait to see more pics of peoples in hand and "actually" see it in hand.

It is nice to see these are better than what the SS photos showed. I'll admit I was a bit worried.

That's the way it was with me, I saw the pics and was very disappointed that the hair was so dark. Now that lighter hair pics are out some of that initial disappointment has gone away.

Ironically when the figure first came out I didn't think it looked much like Obi...I think this one has more of a resemblance. Don't ask me how.

I am now the proud owner of THE OBI-WAN KENOBI EXCLUSIVE 1:6 SCALE FIGURE, and I must say he is the most beautiful figure I have ever seen. Photos of him generally suck, because nothing compares to seeing him in real life in natural lighting. I think it supersedes the prototypes by a long shot. It's not that dark at all in person, and the robe color is simple STUNNING--a shockingly beautiful shade of mahogany that is wonderful to look at. Yes, his boots are a little plastic-y, and the tunic material is a little thin, but the blaster is amazing and the lightsaber! It's always been my favorite in the movies, but this little accesory is simply gorgeous. I wish I had a camera you guys, cause oh man, this dawg is the hottest thing since the movies themselves.

I've put him right in the middle of my display with Mace, Kit, Luke and Han. Still can't find an Anakin at a decent price though, I need one to dual with Obi--though I actually prefer him on his own, leading my collection to glory!

I love you sideshow!

The thing I do not understand is.... that I updated my card, address and everything a week ago... let SSC know... and still nothing... Mace hasn't shipped or charged, neither has Obi or Qui-Gon. I guess I should be happy, what with me not having much money at all...

But I just hope nothing is wrong with my account. I guess I will find out this Friday when my Jaws FLEX payment gets debited....

Got him today, will post some pics later tonight. Overwall he is nice, third behind Fisto and Mace, he just could have been tops with better paint color and apps. The hands are stay on better than any other SW figure so far.

No bring on Jason 4 and Qui-Gon!!!!!!!!!!!

Well here are my OB1 pics:

SS really missed giving the pointed fingers hand for Obeeee. Would have made me look past the thick eyebrows.

My favorite part of the Duel.

People can b!tch all they want about all the Jedis we are getting, but I love this shot.

But can they defeat Terminators?

EVILFACE, glad to hear you're digging Obi-Wan.

You really should darken Mace's eyes sometime if you get the chance. Trust me, it makes all the difference in the world. He might now rival Kit as my favorite figure yet now that I've done that.
