Ok guys, heres a definitve time table. Preperation for oral exams simply requires more time than expected therefore I have to get this project on the sideline for that time. I will have oral exams from Nov. 22-25. That means I will be drunk from Nov. 25 (evening) - 27. At Nov 28 there is a fabric market over here in Hambourg which I will attend in order to find some fabrics for other projects. I took Monday Nov 29 off to do all the socks at one day. I have decided to not handstitch the most parts as machine simply looks better. So if everything is going as planned everyones socks will be shipped / ready to ship in the week Nov 29 - Dec 4.
Further I will update a pic the next days with a final pair of each set so everyone can decide wether he likes them or not. I have only finished one full sock yet due to lack of time, but will try to finish all 4 this week and give you some shots by Friday.
Sorry fr the delay but exams simply have to get priority. (Thats why I did not take any money before )

would you consider making a movie accurate Joker tie since you'll be looking for other fabrics? The one by Blindvoyager seems to be non existent

In fact there is a plan about that, however I dont want to hit BV. He is still around so I dont expect him doing a Howes.

How about this: Lets wait until December 1st. If nothing happens we can go into details.
How many people are on the list for BVs tie? Did public his list? Maybe we can work out a litle extra for those people, just to even the score ... Am I writing in correct english?

Yes, please make some ties!!!!! I didn't even make it on Blindvouyer's list of ties, so I don't think it will be a problem if you make some for all of us who missed them. PLEASE!!

I honestly cannot imagine it but with Commtech not being on the list I believe there will be enough room for another attempt. Nevertheless, I wont be able to do anything before Dec 1 (one project at a time )

Does anybody know if I can get the original tie somewhere? There are so many different patterns out there, I believe we should go with a new one... Als would be a nice idea for my oral exams.

the left tie is the actual tie that heath wore in the film which is made by turnbull and asser. But it was weathered giving off a brown look. The one on the right is a nice tie made by indy magnoli clothiers. I actually just reworked it and made it look more accurate for a friend of mine.

also the ties are thinner and regular ties. The tie is a green tie, but has lots of brown in it due to the weathering.

I'm on the list for one of BV's ties. I'm content to wait for his, but if you're going to give one a go, I'm interested. As for the image above, I'd say the one on the right is closer.

Gotta say I was never worried about the accuracy of my Joker socks... but still some very impressive work! And given some of the crazy prices I've seen for custom work the price is fair.
