1/6 HALO Warthog, ODST & Marines. Update pg6

Pep base 1/6th Warthog under way

It measures 1000mm approx long.

The gun unit is a separate piece so I can build also a Rocket Pod set and maybe even the Troop carrier version by just swapping parts. One Warthog and 3 versions.

I have also 3 ODST troopers almost complete.

So far it is all CARD.

Will be detailing it next, then onto filler to strengthen it.

Should be quite something once done and Not seen anyone else tackle this project.

I'm not a Halo fan, but I can definitely commend you on a fantastic start on it. I will definitely keep an eye on this one.

It's your decision of course, but you could sell the completed version for tons of money

As for selling Hell NO. I have 3 ODST guys waiting for this to be finished

Then once the Warthog is done, an Arbiter is on the cards (be around 18" tall I reckon

Oh I know, it's quite a time and money investment into creating it. I myself wouldn't part with such a unique piece as that.

How long have you been doing customs?

On and off for a fair few years though mainly weapons, figures.

Your far beyond me, I might as be an infant compared to you and others on here.

A fully painted up Warthog is going to look sick.

Once you're done the Warthog and troopers figures, it's going to look awesome with all of them mounted up in it.

Lets see if it can all fall into place

Figures are coming along nicely and so is the UNSC Marine I am doing.

Was planning on doing a Spartan, however seems that is taking care of now so just waiting for them to be released

Do you cover the whole thing in car body filler to strengthen it
and then sand it down?

Thank You so much for the very kind comments.

As for the Warthog, It has strength now But Better to play safe I guess as it is only card.
So yes strengthen it with Car filler and also shape some clear plastic for the wind shield.

Also Yes edstuff I DO Plan on doing an Arbiter too I am using a large 13"-14" tall SPIDERMAN as base to work on.

Just need to finish off these 4 bad boys

I always wished hot toys or ss would make an arbiter. Odst figs look great so far.

I've thought about making a custom arbiter myself. I have an old ss jason figure that's a bit too tall for regular 1/6 clothes I thought I'd start with. Maybe watching you will give me the guts to actually get started.

Though maybe we should tackle this together and share info? I am slightly wary on the Arbiter project myself BUT it HAS to be done

A few quickies of the U.N.S.C. Marine body armour too. Old Hasbro Stormtrooper armour dremelled and shaped, armour fromt carved balsa wood.

Just a little update on the U.N.S.C. Marine Torso armour.

I have added an Earth Magnet to the Assault rifle and will be doing this to the rest of the weapons I have.

Plan on having Metal on the back of the O.D.S.T. Marines and also thighs too.

Anyway back to the armour.

I have added Buckles that secure front and rear together.

I used plasticard to make the shoulder armour and also metal for the rear back piece and something for the weapons to magnetise too.

Final update. Like the WETA film with the O.D.S.T., Warthog and Marines fighting Brutes, I went with the soft approach to the collar. I will be covering with Green material to match the armour.

I figured Frank Castle may like to rejoin the Marines, so put him into the Future U.N.S.C. Marines.
