A quick update.

Body is pretty much re-enforced/fibre glassed now. Just need to cover the bonnet and underside with a sheet of plasticard (both sides). Trim and fit the custom "H" crossbar. Then detail the interior before spraying.

My lovely wife holding the Warthog to truly show the size of this beastie.

Now onto the FOUR wheels and suspension system.

Pep is a trial and error process :/ Thankfully a cheap trial and error process. Due to just printer ink and paper/card.
TBH I have no idea if there are any youtube how to vids, most probably will be.

You can download from the 405th.com and also just online to find to download.

Also started work on some 1/6th HALO weapons.

Sniper Rifle wip

Originally was this M82 .50 cal.

Stripped down to this and balsa brace.

Started building up the rear section and barrel.

Where I am at the moment with New lower Body.

Testing out on figure.

Lastly started on TWO SMGs which will have working sliding stocks and fore grips. Included the drafted Blue print.

Alas Carter`s hips stop him sitting properly in the Warthog. The Leg room Is there however. Just bad Hip articulation from 3A :/

Awww thanks edstuff. That is very kind of you to say.

Yeah this will never be put onto the sideline. Just loving the building of All and how they are turning out. Helps people are enjoying seeing this and also found some similar minded folk and we are sharing to each build HALO universe at 1/6.
Plus ThreeA seem to have plenty in the pipeline for us to enjoy too.

Been busy with real world but my custom scratch built HALO 3 Marine is getting closer to finished.
Armour and Helmet truly on the way.

Another custom HALO helmet underway. U.N.S.C. Pilot helmet. Need to make the visor yet but think main Helmet body is pretty much there.

Hopefully have my 3 O.D.S.T. done before Christmas, Marine almost done. Just finished the shin armour.

As I like to multi project, here's the 1/1 U.N.S.C. Marine Helmet I am currently working on too.

1/1 Marine Helmet HALO.

Took my first attempt at casting and casted my HALO 3 Marine armour. Ran out of mold making stuff for the back armour But overall for my first time, I am happy and can do a good squad of Marines inc maybe S. SGT Johnson.


My 1/1 UNSC Marine Helmet slowly coming together. More sanding to it. Then sprayed a coat of Dark Green to have a better assessment of where I want to fill and where I want to leave wear n tear and battle damage.
