Have anybody seen any European retailers having it up for preorder?

That's my mate Gareth! I used to go bugging with him at conventions dressed also as a xenomorph lolAww, he's wearing a collar - he's been domesticated. Good around children and pets, and just a milliliter of his blood combined with a gallon of water and teaspoon of apple cider vinegar will get out all household stains!
yep! now it's a definite must buy for me. will have to ignore the inaccuracies, won't be any other 1/6 alien for a long time, and posing it in some threatening poses will hide them anyway.i think the prototype looks much better than those official photos!
You know, looking at that side by side, I have to give props to HT, they actually did re-sculpt the whole thing.
The arms, hands, feet and head we had all noticed before, but I hadn't seen the detail on the lower legs, they actually changed it to be accurate to the Aliens version.
You can also see that the tail is slightly different, with the more prominent vertebrae, and the fifth spike on the back is different as well.
So, kudos to HT! Well done!
I still won't buy it, but praise where it's due.
$ 250 for this ?? 1/4 scale Neca for less then half . I'm done with hot toys .
You get what you pay for. Neca is a decent value for the money, as long as you don't look at them up close, that's when you realize why they're so much cheaper. I think this completely new figure will be worth every penny and no matter how closely I examine it, it will be gorgeous and flawless. The paintwork alone on this figure looks to be worth the price of admission. That's why the cost of Hot Toys is always worth it to me and why no other company of mass-produced collectibles even comes close to their quality and craftsmanship.
I wish HT would have included a 1/6 egg or facehugger.
Seems like the HT theme is pay more for less...
Looks awesome!
I had a lot of the original Hot Toys ALIENS/Alien/etc. figures and they were FANTASTIC at the time. It's good to see that Hot Toys has been re-visiting some of their original classics and re-doing them with new 2.0 versions (like the AVP Predators). Unfortunately, I'm past re-collecting all my past Alien/Predator stuff but I'm sure glad to see this for my fellow collectors and fans who are still waiting patiently for Hot Toys to deliver.
The biggest issue is going to be the same as before: How will this rubber hold up with the paint and time? Has Hot Toys addressed that yet?
How different is this Alien (1986) from the Xenomorph in Alien (1979)?
Height, design, etc.
