When it comes to statues, I must say I really like the ArtFX one.
For the Giger alien, that is. I'm not sure I've seen a statue of the Cameron alien that I'm completely sold on.

I like almost all alien designs do be crouched. Except for the first movie alien that one has to stand up

i finally see why paint looks so plain and dull.
it doesn't have all those numerous white stripes on every detail that is higher than main surface, giving it a death/skeleton impression.
