And...sold! You pushed me over. Gotta get this..so I ordered it tonight. Been celebrating the 30th of "Aliens" by enjoying the new "Set Photography" book...great stuff in there. HT really got the details on this version down cold. Funny how something put together and highlighted with exhaust tubing and painted string can end up becoming a part of imagery that's so iconic and long lasting that we're still buying high-end collectibles of it 30 years later!

Excellent photo. I'll be thrilled if I can come with with a photo half as cool. Really great.

Awesome! Still waiting for mine... I'm shocked how long it takes for these things to get to Europe (I was living in the US until recently).

Nope. Pre ordered months ago at SPACE in Germany. They are expecting it sometime this month though..

Speaking of statues...

I picked up the old palisades warrior. I think it plays pretty well with the 2.0, so now he has a buddy and I will be displaying them together.

i have it, too, but didn't put them together yet, being afraid to see they don't match in size. glad to see they do!

That is awesome Thainitty! But is he missing his tail spike? And just FYI, you can remove the logo/watermark in the settings

Thank you manannin, no it's there just the way it's bent, I saw that too and wasn't happy with it but I didn't want to take the figure out to reshoot it. I can take the watermark off?!?! Thanks for the tip man, I really appreciate it!

Another beautiful shot there, Thannity. ..

Just got this figure. ..I'll try for some shots of it this weekend.

First impression. ..I like it. This is my first HT Aliens figure. Pretty solid. ...packed with details and the finish doesn't look as garish as some photos have made it appear.

Gonna dig up some of the review videos in here and look for some inspired poses. This one should be fun to photograph. ..

Thanks jedibear, I'm glad you like the figure and I know what you mean about it looking better in person. People were saying there was a ton of gold but mine didn't look gold. Looking forward to your pics

Here's a quick one from me tonight...



I think it's pretty cool. I like the seamless body, even though that does significantly reduce articulation, it won't be hard to find a pose I like and leave it (once I've snapped shots like crazy of it).

That finish is actually pretty interesting...really changes the intensity and the look depending on the lighting conditions.

It's cool to celebrate "ALIENS" 30h which such a good looking figure....

He looks great jedibear, I like the lighting. I was pretty pleased with how much movement and crunch you can get out of the torso, I think that helps a lot with the posing. Glad you're enjoying the alien

i have neca A2 and ht A2 on the table, and ht variant sucks so strong it could be used in porno.
